Hi Pebbles friends! I’ve been around for a while, but many of you haven’t…so first of all – WELCOME! I’m Wendy Sue and I am a tried and true Pebbles fan! I love creating cards, layouts, and all things paper with the fun and beautiful designs created by the talented team at Pebbles! I thought I’d share a few tidbits about myself, along with a layout I created recently.

Family layout by Wendy Sue Anderson featuring the "Lovely Moments" collection by @PebblesInc.

The most important part of my life…my whole life…are the people in this photo! My family. My husband. Three sons. One daughter. And one son-in-law.

We live in a high mountain valley in Utah. It’s the beginning of June and there’s still snow – just a hop, skip, and a jump away!! We love it here. We enjoy all things outdoors – hiking, biking, walking, swimming, boating – all the things!!

When I’m not outside, you can usually find me creating something fun with paper. Or reading a good book. Or baking my favorite cookies.

My degree (and my day job) is in accounting…so I’m pretty much working with paper in one way or another all the time. I also enjoy teaching people how to make beautiful projects, document their memories, and create cards to share with special people! Here’s a quick little tutorial for the subtle little shaker box at the bottom of my layout (did you see it?).

Family layout by Wendy Sue Anderson featuring the "Lovely Moments" collection by @PebblesInc.

Start by stitching two vellum “pockets” onto patterned paper. I trimmed this fun polkadot paper to 11″ x 11″ and added two pieces of vellum – one to the top and one to the bottom – the middle will be covered by the photo and coordinating paper later.

Make sure to leave the top part of the bottom piece open (stitch the left, bottom, and right edges only)

You can find some confetti, or use one of the puffy stickers from the collection (if you don’t think you’ll use it otherwise).

Cut open the sticker.

Pour in the confetti.

Now stitch along the top to close the shaker! And finish building the layout on top of it.

Thanks so much for stopping by today – I hope you’re inspired to try something new. Come back soon!!

About me – Terhi

Hello everyone, It’s Terhi Koskinen here!
I have been up here for many times before, but as we have just started a new term with my lovely three team mates, why not to share something about myself. Oh, and don’t worry, not going to get you bored by telling all about my shoe size or full length life story, I only want to share some things about my creative life so far.

I have been scrapbooking for over ten years and started the journey by seeing some scrapbook albums made by a friend of mine. As I’m a lover of photographing and I couldn’t imagine my life without creating things with my hands, I was hooked from the day one. The lovely friend of mine let me borrow her papers and stamps, and told me how to start and where to purchase my own stuff. I’ll be forever grateful for her, as her help and advice as given me not only beautiful albums full of our family life, but also countless opportunities to see the world, make new friends, and even lead to me to study new profession!

Talking about profession, last year was the toughest of my life so far. Struggles with health, home and work gave me an idea about to do something I would actually love and be passioned about as my work, to support my mental health and happier life. Uniting my career with technology to my creative mind lead me to dream about graphic designing.
Now I’m studying like never before and couldn’t be more excited about the choice I made!

When I’m not reading or practicing, I’m making cute things like this mini album here. This one is made as a small birthday present for my eldest daughter. She turns twelve in just few weeks and she lives for horses – just as her mother has always lived! The mini book is all about her pony and what they discovered last summer.

Mini albums are one of my favorite craft to make, as I can create one about years long adventures or add only couple photos telling a story about one single moment in life. Also, you can add much more pretty embellishments into a mini book than to scrapbook layouts. But I do love creating layouts, too!

Here I created the album with Hey, Hello project pad and other embellishments. I made the covers with thick cardstock covered with patterned paper. The made the simplest photo cards by attaching patterned papers behind each photo I added to the book. I kept the photos clear from embellishments and added everything to the other side, together with a phrase sticker matching to the theme.

In addition to my daughter I talked before, our family includes another sweet girl aged nine and a handsome man I could “hubs”. There are two furry friends here, too, couple of cavalier King Charles spaniels.

We live in a small house and sadly I don’t have a huge room for my scrapbooking supplies. Instead, half of our living room is my creative space and quite often our family has to eat somewhere else as the kitchen table is occupied with my scraps, tools and machines.

My dream is to share the word of memory keeping to the whole world and encourage everyone to make something with their hands. I also dream about traveling to US, to see the people and places who has started the scrapbooking in the first place.

I hope you are inspired about work! Please come to visit at my blog and social media, and we will meet also here at Pebbles blog many times in the future, too!

Thank you for reading this far!
Keep on crafting!

Hello friends! Happy Monday– and Happy March!

We have 6 amazing social media team members — and LOVE working with them! However, we also realize some of you might like the chance to work on our social media team too. With that in mind…we are going to have a design team call!

What are we looking for in a social media team member? We need someone that can/already does:

LOVE Pebbles Inc products!

Consistently submit projects/photos at least 1 week before the post date

Take creative direction from our team

Post 2-3 times a month on our blog

Have a meaningful presence on Instagram, Facebook and/or Youtube

Promote your project on your personal social media channels

Ready to submit your application? We need the following items to properly consider you as a potential new member of the team:

Name, email, photo

Creative resume (Can be added however you’d like it — an attachment to the email, a summary in the body of the email, etc.). **Please note–we will consider applications that take us to another site as last priority (in other words– make it easy for us!)

3 photos of your samples that include 1 layout, 1 card and 1 alternative project that you feel fits well with the Pebbles brand (bonus points for using Pebbles products in your submissions!)

Please submit the above items to [email protected]; applications are due by 11:59pm, March 17th. We’ll spend the next week (or so) evaluating them and reaching out to current and future team members.

Don’t hesitate to email us with any questions– we can’t wait to hear from you!

How has this year passed SO quickly? We have loved every second with our current crafting team…so much that we want to brag about them for just a bit! Did you know that each of these women are spectacular? That they have a passion for crafting and inspiring others? They are – and they do!!

Recently, we asked them to share a picture with themselves and their favorite craft with us.  We have to be honest – most (if not all!) would prefer to work behind the camera, crafting away to their favorite music and enjoying their favorite treats.  However, they indulged us and send in a picture.  And we want to share what they have loved making this year!

Here are our crafters with one of their favorite projects from this year - what is YOUR favorite project?? #crafter #pbsocial #pebblesinc

Here is Wendy.  She has been on the team for a bit…because we sure enjoy her talents! She is a mom and wife and designs projects for us on the side (she has a day job too).  Not only does she make awesome projects, but she’s great to work with!

Here are our crafters with one of their favorite projects from this year - what is YOUR favorite project?? #crafter #pbsocial #pebblesinc

Here is Terhi. She was new to our team this year and we love having her!  Incase you didn’t notice, she loves creating dimensional wonders.  Each of her projects have so many details, parts and pieces…and we love seeing them!  Terhi is so great to work with too – we hit the jackpot with these ladies!

Here is Amanda.  Amanda was also a new addition to our team this year…and we love having her with us! This girl is a wiz with cut files, dimension, technique and more.  In addition to designing for us (and a few other teams), she is a wife, mother and full-time employee.  Holy cow- we don’t know how these ladies do all that they do!

Here are our crafters with one of their favorite projects from this year - what is YOUR favorite project?? #crafter #pbsocial #pebblesinc

Here is Heather.  Besides crafting up fun and fabulous projects, Heather loves to throw parties (can you tell??)!  She always has so many wonderful crafts…we wish we lived near enough to her to enjoy them together! Heather has a darling family and crafts on a small group of other teams too.

Here are our crafters with one of their favorite projects from this year - what is YOUR favorite project?? #crafter #pbsocial #pebblesinc

Here is Eva.  We can’t say enough about this girl – she is so fun to work with! She speaks a variety of languages, has a sweet family and is a wiz with paper and punchboards (Eva is also on the We R Memory Keepers team and makes fabulous projects for them too!).

Here is Leanne.  She is our other Australian crafter – and we love her! (ok – lets be honest…we love all our ladies!!) She brings a straight forward, sweet, and classy style to our team – a style we’ve definitely enjoyed for over the last 2 years!

Our team will have some new faces next week.  We had to take a second, though, to tell you just a few reasons why we love them before that happens.  We hope you’ll join us in wishing them well whether they are still with us or not – because they are truly fantastic individuals!

@pebblesinc has a Design Team call for 2019 - be sure to get your application in today!Hello friends! Can you believe it’s been a year since we were updating our team? It has! And it’s time to do it again! We are currently accepting applications for paper crafters to join our team. What does it mean to a part of the Pebbles Inc. team exactly? Well… a few things.

First, you will need to post at least twice a month on the Pebbles Inc blog (with coordinating posts on at least one of your social media channels – hopefully 2!).  Posting includes writing up the blog post, taking great photos and adding them to our WordPress blog. We often repost some of these photos to our Instagram and Facebook accounts (when you post, we’ll have you send us a few of your favorite photos).

Second, you’ll be a brand advocate for Pebbles Inc! If you see friends online that have questions about any of the products, we’d love to have you share your passion for Pebbles Inc. with them!

As you complete the above, you’ll be compensated monthly with product as well as monetary compensation (product is sent out as we have new releases, the monetary compensation is sent out monthly).  You will also get the chance to participate in a few projects with our sister brands (if you are available) – but the bulk of your time will be focused on sharing projects with the Pebbles brand.

So – how do you apply to be on the team? Be sure to send us the following information:

  1. Name and Photo (if you are chosen, this will help us expedite the end process of compiling photos)
  2. An introduction to you! Tell us how you’d define your style, what you love making most, where your passion for creating comes from…totally up to you on what to share!
  3. 3-4 crafted samples (a card, page and an alternate project of your choice)
  4. All your social media handles so we can get to know you a little more there!

Due date for applications is November 27th.  They need to be emailed to [email protected]  We’ll pick the team during the first part of December and notify everyone by email of the results.

Thanks in advance for your love of our brand and the products we create – we love seeing what YOU create with them!
