Hello Pebbles Friends and Fans, my name is Laurie! I am so very happy to be a guest designer for Pebbles in the month of November. I was given the opportunity to work with the Along the Way collection by Jen Hadfield and I was so excited to open this beautiful box of goodies! I love the color tones of Jen’s collections and could not wait to dig in and start layering all of the beautiful pieces!
For my first project, I created a traditional 12×12 scrapbook layout. One of my favorite things about Jen’s collections is that they are family-oriented. I’d been waiting on the perfect collection to document some pictures of my girls and this is the collection!

I chose to use a grid design for this page so that I could showcase all of the beautiful embellishments and gorgeous prints. I used 3×4 photos and added some simple layers behind them as well as a simple cluster along with the title. The “happy” in the title is from the phrase Thickers and the girls are using the alpha included in this collection. I love the gold foil. It is a bit muted and the perfect hue.

For the notebook paper layer, I cut a piece of one of the papers into a 3×4 card.  I then punched three holes down the left edge so that it looks like a tiny piece of notebook paper. It is so cute!

For the other embellishment cluster, I used one of the cut-apart tags and layered a couple of patterned papers underneath.  I also used two of the gold-foiled floral pieces from the ephemera pack. Finally, I fussy cut some of the butterflies and dragonflies from patterned paper and used them on foam dots to give a little dimension.

I printed my photos in black and white to allow the colors of this collection to stand alone – they really are gorgeous!

I couldn’t stop at one project…so here is one more! After all, when I saw this collection I knew I also had to use it to document our family photos from a couple of years ago.

I created a simple one ring mini album, using the 3×4 cut apart cards and the tag pack as my base. I printed all of my photos as 3″x4″ and then arranged them so that I had one picture and one title card for each “page”.

This collection made this mini album so easy to create! The colors and the prints are just stunning and the pieces fit my theme so well.

This hello friend tag had a “to” and “from” section at the bottom…so I just covered it up using a branding strip and one of the pink word stickers from the collection. I thought this tag would be sweet to go opposite from the picture of my girls. They are besties!

I also loved the “I feel pretty. oh so pretty” parts of this collection; they were perfect to document the solo photos of the girls!

Have a happy day, friends!

And it’s time to do it again! We are currently accepting applications for paper crafters to join our team. What does it mean to a part of the Pebbles Inc. team exactly? Well… a few things.

We often repost some of these photos to our Instagram and Facebook accounts (when you post, we’ll have you send us a few of your favorite photos).

Second, you’ll be a brand advocate for Pebbles Inc! If you see friends online that have questions about any of the products, we’d love to have you share your passion for Pebbles Inc. with them!

As you complete the above, you’ll be compensated monthly with product as well as monetary compensation (product is sent out as we have new releases, the monetary compensation is sent out monthly).  You will also get the chance to participate in a few projects with our sister brands (if you are available) – but the bulk of your time will be focused on sharing projects with the Pebbles brand.

So – how do you apply to be on the team? Be sure to send us the following information:

  1. Name and Photo (if you are chosen, this will help us expedite the end process of compiling photos)
  2. An introduction to you! Tell us how you’d define your style, what you love making most, where your passion for creating comes from…totally up to you on what to share!
  3. 3-4 crafted samples (a card, page and an alternate project of your choice)
  4. All your social media handles so we can get to know you a little more there!

Due date for applications is November 27th.  They need to be emailed to [email protected]  We’ll pick the team during the first part of December and notify everyone by email of the results.

Thanks in advance for your love of our brand and the products we create – we love seeing what YOU create with them!

Hello, Pebbles, Inc. fans! This is Jessi and I am excited to be a guest designer for the Pebbles. Inc blog. I was given the super adorable Along The Way Collection. Once I got the collection in my hands, I could not wait to get to work. I immediately fell in love with the gorgeous colors used throughout the variety of prints!

First up, I made a simple home décor hanging using a few different prints:

@kissinkraftsjessi is on the blog with us today - don't miss her darling Along the Way Projects!
This project started with a unfinished house shape wooden piece. I cut the different prints down to the correct sized and glued them to the wood. I used a few more prints for form with the different layers to highlight the saying. To finish the piece, I used one the of pieces from the Along the Way Ephemera.
Next up is a page I completed in my Bible Journal:

I used more of the additional Along the Way embellishments than I did the papers. I used some ephemeras, 3D stickers, and word stickers. I did cut up a few of the 2×3 squares included on one side of  a 12×12 sheet.
Another thing I loved about this collection is how easy it is to throw together some quick cards:

In the Along the Way collection, there is a box of cards. These cards are made using some of the fun prints from the collection. A great way to get started on a card. I cut up a few different tags from a 12×12 sheet and created the cards using frames and stripes of paper.
I enjoyed my time as a guest designer. Thank you Pebbles, Inc. for the opportunity!

Hello dear friends! We hope you’re as excited as us that Fall is finally here! We’ve been eyeing our chunky sweaters, picking out pumpkins and eating way too many candy corns in anticipation of October. While the weather isn’t cooperating for all the sweaters just yet (it’s still in the 80’s some days of the week), we thought we’d make pumpkins the star of our monthly challenge for October, no matter the weather!

All things pumpkin are part of the Pebbles challenge for October! Hope you'll join us for the party!

So…how will this challenge work? All you need to do is create something “pumpkin-inspired”.  Love to scrapbook? Create a layout with pumpkin pictures, pumpkin shapes or pumpkin prints.  Love to create 3D projects? Create a 3D paper pumpkin.  Have an inkling to share pumpkin- themed treats? Make a pumpkin pouch.  The sky’s the limit!  Here are what some of our friends made when we asked for a little help to get you started:

If we get enough submissions, we’ll pick 2 winners on October 24th.  Submission photos should be sent to [email protected]

Good luck! Can’t wait to hear from you!

Along the Way with Guest Designer Laurel!

@laurelseabrook is on the Pebbles Inc blog today; be sure to take a peek at her lovely projects!

Hi everyone, Laurel here!  I am so excited to be a guest designer today! I have always loved Pebbles products and playing with them is so easy. I was given the Along the Way collection to create with and it was perfect for documenting some family moments as well as creating some cards.
@laurelseabrook is on the Pebbles Inc blog today; be sure to take a peek at her lovely projects!
First up, I dug right in to create some layouts. I love the colors and happy go lucky feel of the collection so I used it for documenting my grand daughter’s love for swinging. She would swing all day if I would push her.
My layout is pretty simple, but I always want the focus to be on the photos and in this case, that happy smiling face. I cut strips of paper and just layered them beside the paper, tucked in some ephemera and added stitching. I then stitched on some of the insect die cuts.

The next layout once again, involves using some paper strips. I used some of the ones left over from my first layout and went from there. I then tucked bits and pieces behind the photo, stitched and added a die cut. The die cut is mounted on foam squares.

I started creating traveler’s notebook pages as a form of memory keeping and am loving those! So quick and easy and such a great way to document special moments. In this case this is a photo of my mom and my grand daughter that I snapped one day. I love this photo for many reasons and had to scrap it. Some simple layering of the papers and ephemera made for a quick project. The tag has been cut in half with each half tucked in behind some of the papers. Finally, I added a stamped sentiment that captures the photo perfectly!

Next up, my cards. Once I have broken into a collection, I then like to use some of the smaller pieces to create cards. Once again, simple layering of papers and ephemera with some mounted on foam squares for dimension. I am a sucker for any check/plaid/gingham so I had to use that buffalo plaid on at least one project!

I hope that you have enjoyed my projects today as much as I enjoyed creating them!
