Tis The Season

Hello Pebbles friends! Marcia here today. If you live in the United States, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. But now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is getting all my attention! I like to scrapbook some of the Christmas card photos I get from family, like this one of my daughter and her great pyrenees dog who love playing in the snow. The Merry Little Christmas collection was perfect to use! I love the fun patterns and colors. For this photo, I pulled more of the snowy embellishments, not the Christmas ones. I love how versatile this collection is.

I used a digital cut file for my title Tis The Season, and backed it with a variety of pattern papers and colors. This is a great way to use up scraps of paper. I attached these mittens to my title and added a little bow. The title was then placed on a big snowflake.

I love finding adorable die cut ephemera pieces like this girl wearing a red coat. Since my daughter was also wearing a red coat, I had to use it on this layout. I matted my photo with two different green pattern papers and tore the bottom edge so I could see the white core. The white edges remind me of snowbanks. Take a look at the dimension foam tape gives too.

One of my favorite things about this collection are the tags, like this Happy Holidays tag. These tags would make amazing quick and easy cards too. For this snowy scene, I added some dimension with some stickers and foam dots. Behind the tag you can see two of the washi tapes I layered on the background. There are so many embellishment options with this collection!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend!

Hello everyone! It’s Eva on the blog today showing you a Christmas layout made with the new Merry Little Christmas line.

Create a fun and easy Christmas Layout with this tutorial from @evapizarrov using the new Merry Little Christmas line from @pebblesinc

This layout is easy, fun and best of all you need only a few supplies to create this lovely Christmas wreath.

I started by selecting one of the Merry Little Christmas papers from the 12 x 12 paper pad. I wanted the cut file garland to stand up from the background, so I chose this gorgeous green snowflake paper.

Next, I cut a white cardstock circle and put it on the back of my wreath. I curled the leaves a little bit and glued the wreath with some 3d dots.

I opened the ephemera packages and selected a few that worked with the design. The die cuts have a white border so they are a perfect match to the white wreath!

Finally, I added the title with these lovely gold thickers and my journaling.

I also used some 3d dots on a few ephemera pieces, it gives great dimension to the layout.

This was a one photo layout, but you could include a strip of pictures or a mini accordion to help you scrap all those favorite photos from the Christmas season.

My december daily

Hello crafty friends, it’s Lucile! Today I present you my december daily for this year! It’s been 3 years since I embarked on the adventure of the december daily. Last year, I used a travelers but this year I wanted to create it myself.

I did it the size of a standard photo to insert photos. It also helps to not have too much work every day by filling it. I used exclusively the collection “Merry Little Christmas”. For the cover, I used a red paper, traditional Christmas color.

To keep my album closed, I added a paper lanyard. I made all my decoration directly on this strip of paper. I used die cuts from the collection and the Puffy Thickers. I also used 3D foams to add volume.

The most complicated part of this december daily is the binding. I used a binding that is used to connect the big notebooks. Simply sew all the paper sheets individually and assemble them with a thread. To add a decorative side, I also perforated my cover but it can hold without this step. It’s estetic.

To finish the decoration of the slice of my album, I created a white pompom and I added a die cuts. It’s simple but I think it adds a unique and original side to the album.

Inside the album, we find different papers of the collection. I can’t wait to start it! And you, have you a december daily?
I hope that my album will give you ideas to create yours, see you soon!

Gift Card Mini Album

Hey everyone, Michelle here today sharing a new project using the Merry Little Christmas collection. I’ve always wanted to do a mini album for gift cards and this collection was perfect for it. I used a cut file from Lori Whitlock. I started it off by cutting the base out of white AC cardstock. That way I knew that anything I added would match. I went with a bright red paper for the cover and these gorgeous gold phrase thickers!

I added one piece of ephemera to each page of the album. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t too thick and wouldn’t stay closed.

I also added a strip of washi on top of each page. I love how washi is so easy to use!

I love how the gift cards fit perfectly in the little pockets.

I also added some floral paper on the inside covers, just to make it more colorful!

This little album will hold 6 gift cards. How fun is that?? I haven’t decided who I’m giving it to yet. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!

Documenting Christmas Joy with Terhi

Hey Pebbles Fans, are you ready for Christmas?
I AM!
Can’t wait the lights, can’t wait the ginger breads, the chocolate, the tree… Oh, I’m ready for all. But more than anything else, I’m waiting for giving gifts.

This layout was inspired by my passion to give gifts and there’s a very long story behind the picture. As this post would grow way too long if I’d tell the whole story now, I’ll just say I didn’t know I was taking such precious pics when I took these shots couple Christmases ago and will focus now only for the scrapbooking part.
And literally the story IS behind the pic, I couldn’t fit it on the page so it’s written to the backside of the layout.

Last time I created a small Christmas mini book and today I’m using Merry Little Christmas, too. The mini book was easy to make, but trust me this layout is even easier!

Instead of using electricity or any other cutting machines, I created the background of this layout by punching away with one simple star punch. One star is about 1″ wide, so I punched a lot of stars. I used all green-ish patterned papers from Merry Little Christmas line and simply adhered the stars on white cardstock with foam dots.

Then, to give the layout some texture I added some thread on top, again keeping the tones on green. And then on top the photographs. First I was adding only the biggest photo, but soon I thought why not to add a row of smaller pics too. Seeing more faces of my sweet little girl makes the whole Christmas happiness even bigger!

Last phase of the creation process was to add watercolour drops here and there, a title and some embellishments.
Can’t wait to see what this Christmas brings!
