Hi friends! It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a fun memory from a few years ago. Our family took a little side-trip to Lava Hot Springs in Idaho on our way up to Yellowstone. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were thrilled with our decision – it was so much fun! The kids loved the pool (including the water slides and high-dive platforms). I only took a few photos, but I thought this cute “Taking a Dip” paper and other elements from the “Oh Summertime” collection were perfect for documenting the memory!

I used some of the die-cut ephemera and stickers (glitter included) to create a few element clusters on the layout.

Does this one look familiar? I loved it so much on my quick and easy summertime banner that I duplicated it for my layout!

I also love, love, loved the glittered phase thickers that coordinate with the “Oh Summertime” collection. The color matched the mural in the photo perfectly, so of course I had to use them!

Of course, the title for my layout was the name of the location – and that certainly wasn’t a part of the sticker collection…so, I just mixed and matched letters from different words (and created a few letters, like the “v” and “g”) to add “Lava Hot Springs” as my title. It’s fun to get creative with letters and I love the hodge-podge, whimsical effect.

Do you have pool photos waiting to be scrapbooked? I challenge you to use this fun collection to record your memories!

Happy Summertime Scrapbooking to you!!
