Set the table with paper bag Fall Decor

Hi there Pebbles Friends! It’s Leanne here today sharing a super easy idea to help set your table with Fall Décor. This time of year is starting to get really busy and we would all like to simplify things if we can, right? So why not decorate with same goal in mind. Today I want to share this cute Paper Bag Fall Décor idea. Use it as a table/name placement setting or just as a cute way to set the table. Either way, it will only take a few minutes to pull it all together.

Gather your supplies:

  • brown paper bags
  • twine/string
  • Pebbles Inc Simple Life & Heart of Home collections
  • Pebbles Inc Wood Veneer shapes
  • American Crafts slick writer pen
  • pencil
  • linen napkins (optional)

Paper Bag Fall Decor

The first step is to create the word “thankful” in a brush script or hand lettering font. If you are not confident in using your own hand writing, here’s a little trick…

1: Download a free hand lettering font to use on your computer. Type out the word/s you would like to use and print to actual size you require.

2-5: Trim the printout to the size where the paper bag when folded, will sit snug in the pocket.

6: Trace over the word with pencil

7: Repeat step 6 with a Slick Writer pen.

8: Insert a napkin into the paper bag to create depth for the twine/string to wrap around twice.

9: Fussy cut flowers or other images from the Pebbles Inc Simple Life paper collection. Use foam tape for added dimension and to secure the twine to the paper bag.

10: To complete the look for your Fall Décor table setting, slip your cutlery into the paper bag, on top of the napkin.

Other alternatives using this idea is to secure the Simple Life wood veneer shapes to the twine.

If you find the brown paper bag is too plain, you can simply make your own napkin pocket with a pretty 12″x12″ sheet of patterned paper. Fold the paper at 7″ from the bottom and 3.5″ from each side. This size pocket will easily accommodate a single napkin. Decorate using more fussy cut images, twine and wood veneer, similar to the paper bag Fall décor.

Simplifying the decorating process has never been easier!

Hello wonderful Pebbles friends. Heather Leopard is here sharing DIY Art Party Birthday Invitations and Party Favors I made for my daughter’s birthday. The Happy Hooray collection was a perfect match to this art themed rainbow party!

Gather your supplies

  • 8.5″ x 11″white cardstock
  • 5 – 6 colors of patterned paper or cardstock for the paint colors
  • adhesive
  • My free painter’s pallet cut file for Silhouette
  • Printer or pen to write the party details (mine were left blank for privacy reasons)

DIY art party birthday invitations tutorial

These are incredibly easy to make if you have a template for my free cut file.  Let’s walk through the steps…

  • Determine the size you want to cut your invitations and then you can either print your party details on the cardstock before you run it through your die cut machine or leave enough space to add the party details later, like I did. I was able to cut two at a time from one 8.5″ x 11″ cardstock paper.

  • Cut the painter’s pallet from the cardstock.  Make sure you measure and line your cut file up so it cuts around your party details where you want it to cut.  NOTE: I included cut lines so you could insert a paint brush so keep that in mind when you are printing and cutting.

  • Cut the paint pieces from your patterned paper or colored cardstock. Adhere them around the edge and around your party details.
  • Insert a toy paint brush and deliver to friends.  By the way, I found a package of 30 paint brushes in the party section of my local hobby store. Great buy with coupon!

Each little artist will walk away from the party with their own painting but here’s an idea to keep their creative juices flowing – watercolor party favors.  You can whip these up quickly and easily are their are sure to be a hit! You can even have the birthday honoree write personalized thank you cards and all you have to do is insert them in the water color cases.

  • Cut a strip of patterned paper to fit inside the lid of the watercolor case.
  • Write a thank you sentiment and print it out on white cardstock
  • Add a solid colored frame around the sentiment to help it pop against the patterned paper strip
  • Adhere the frames sentiment to the strip and insert it into the watercolor case
  • Add some cute tags and a personalized note to the package.  Tie with a ribbon.

Circle Grid Layout ft. Heart of Home

Hello Pebbles’ fans, Eva Pizarro here today showing you how to make a Grid Layout using circles and your favorite papers from the Heart of Home collection.

Use your Circle Punch and the new #HeartofHome collection from @pebblesinc to create a gorgeous Grid Layout p.c. @evapizarrov #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc

As I have told you before, I love the 2″x2″ sentiments you can find in every Pebbles’ collection. You can make cards and mini albums with them.  They are also great to decorate your layouts with too! My life is now complete; I have found the best companion for these prints: The new punches from our friends at We R Memory Keppers. With these punches, you can punch everywhere in the page, align it perfectly and punch away (most of them with enough room for a 2-inch shape)!

I started my layout by using my circle punch to cut several sentiments from this paper.

I also used the punch to cut my photos in a circle shape.

Arrange the elements on your page in a grid design. I added in some patterned paper circles (that I plan to embellish with layered stickers).

Next, I used my Laser Square to perfectly align my circles and my BIG title.

I attached my photos and cut four strips from this paper to create a frame.

After that, I used dimensional stickers to decorate some of the circles and stitched all around my layout with my Stitch Happy machine and pink thread.

See how glittery this chipboard shape is? I love that they are BIG. I think some of them would look lovely as cake toppers!

I want to be honest: I tried stitching around my circles but it was hard and my circles were never perfect so I decided to add a cardstock border instead to give a pink touch and unify my Grid Layout. A stitched border would have been perfect—try using your stitching machine really slow our maybe hand stitch!

I really liked how this layout turned out; it was elegant and the sentiments were perfect for my family photos!

Thanks for joining me! Have a great day!

Quick and Easy Thanksgiving Treat Packets

Hi friends, it’s Wendy Sue here today. Now that Halloween is all over and put away, I’m ready to start creating fun projects for Thanksgiving!!  But I’m not quite ready to put away my “Midnight Haunting” Collection – it’s a good thing there are plenty of really pretty options for Thanksgiving or Autumn in general!  I’m going to start my Thanksgiving prep with some fun little treat packets for some of my sweet neighbors.  Every mom needs a little treat (full of sugary goodness) when she’s knee-deep in Holiday prep, so I’m sending some goodies their way!

Aren’t they cute?  You’d never guess they had their beginnings in a Halloween collection, would you?!?  Here’s how easy these packets are to whip up:

Start by cutting a 9″ x 6″ rectangle from patterned paper.  Add scallops to the top and bottom edges with a punch or decorative scissors if you wish:

Use red sticky tape to secure the two outside edges together to form a tube:

Next, press the bottom edges together:

Use a sewing machine to secure the bottom edges together.  If you cut scallops, be sure to line them up!

This is how it looks after the bottom is sewn closed.  Place the treats inside now!

Next, cut a label shape from a coordinating paper:

And fold it in half:

Use a staple to secure the label across the top of the filled packet:

Add a sticker or a die-cut to cover the staple:

Finally, wrap the packet with twine and tie in a bow!

That’s it! Complete!
