Hello everyone, it’s Eva Pizarro on the blog today sharing a fun Thanksgiving  Place Setting for your dinner using the Heart of Home collection.

Here in Chile, we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving but I think the tradition of giving thanks is fabulous! that’s why I created a Thanksgiving place setting with a thank you card inside. You can use the card to thank your guests for little or big things they do for you or you can invite your guests to write a list of what they are Thankful for.

To make the Thanksgiving Place Setting I cut some tags from this paper from the Heart of Home Collection.

Next, I cut some 15 cm x 8 cm pieces of patterned paper and printed the “Thank you” cards. You can download them here if you want, print them and cut them 7 cm x 14 cm.

After that, glue your “Thank you” cards to your patterned paper.

To create a name tag I used the label stickers and simply write the names with my black slick pen.

Fold your napkin and place your card on top, embellish everything with a tag and the guest’s name.

And what better way to decorate the table than using a Letterboard from our friends Home by DCWV? The small handwritten words are absolutely gorgeous!

You can adapt this idea to other holidays, for New Years, for example, you could put a “Goals for 2018” card and for Christmas you could do a “My gifts to Jesus” card if you have Christians traditions at your home.

What do you think? Do you have a “thank you” tradition with your friends or family? Thank for joining me and I hope you have a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone.  Heather Leopard is here and while my Thanksgiving guests usually leave quite stuffed, I like to send them off with a treat so show that I am grateful they chose to spend their day with us.  This year, I’m sending them home with a Thanksgiving gift – some delicious home baked bread and since I don’t want you to feel left out, I’ve included the recipe below.

Thanksgiving Gift Idea and Recipe by @HeatherLeopard using @PebblesInc #HeartofHome collection #thanksgiving #ThanksgivingGift #madewithpebbles

Let’s start baking!

Gather your Thanksgiving gift supplies and follow the recipe to make your very own delicious zucchini bread. Set it aside while you prepare your packaging.

Let’s get crafty!

The Heart of Home collection has the best tags and die cuts for these delicious bread gifts.  They are especially great because they already have sentiments pre-printed on them so it makes this project easy peasy! Pick your favorites and start layering them.

Wrap it up!

Once the bread has cooled, insert them into cellophane bags, wrap some twine and add your tags. Now you have a delicious Thanksgiving gift to treat your guests to.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you have a blessed week!

Heather

Hi Pebbles Friends!  It’s Wendy Sue here and today I’m going to share a quick and easy Thanksgiving decor project.  I know how busy everyone is this time of year, but it’s still important to make time to do the things you love…and if paper crafting and home decorating are things you love…I have the perfect project for you!  This framed piece can be whipped up in a matter of minutes and will add a personal and festive touch to your home during the Thanksgiving season!  Keep reading to see how easy it is!

Quick and Easy Thanksgiving Decor project by @WendySue for @PebblesInc with the "Midnight Haunting" collection

Start by cutting a circle from patterned paper (be sure it’s slightly smaller than the frame you will be using):

The next step is optional, but adds a fun touch.  Use your sewing machine to sew around the circle two or three times.  The lines don’t have to be straight, in fact, it’s better if they aren’t!

Next, cut the words “thankful” and “blessed” or any other word you’d like to use with a digital cutting machine.  If you don’t have one, use some of your favorite Thickers or other letter stickers!  I cut mine from off-white cardstock and glued them on:

Now is the time to add a foiled floral die-cut to the center. I used foam adhesive for dimension:

Next, place the entire circle on a piece of coordinating patterned paper, cut to the size of the frame:

Finally, pop it in the frame and you’re all done!

Wasn’t that easy?  I hope you have a very blessed Thanksgiving AND I hope you find time to continue doing the things that bring you the most happiness and joy!

Set of Heart of Home Cards for World Kindness Day

Hello Pebbles fans!! It’s Monique here today wishing you a happy World Kindness Day! To celebrate this holiday I thought I’d create a set of cards to send to a few good friends, just “to be kind”. I used the beautiful Heart of Home collection to make this set of elegant cards:

Heart of Home World Kindness Day Cards created by @moniqueliedtke with the #Heart_Of_Home collection by @PebblesInc #madewithpebbles #pebblesinc #heart_of_home_world_kindness_day_cards

The Heart of Home collection is one of my very favorite Pebbles collections, it’s just perfect for every occasion with it’s beautiful colors & designs!

When I create cards I always make sure to finish the layers on top of the cardstock base first before glueing everything together, because often I want to add some stitching or use my stapler to adhere an embellishment and of course I don’t want the stitching or the back of  a staple to be visible inside my cards. Like with this card below. I cut a cardstock base (6″x 4″) and put it aside. Next I cut two rectangles from the Family Matters patterned paper (back and front side) and glued them on top of each other. I also created a cluster for my card using a few die-cuts and two strips of paper cut from the Me To You patterned paper.

I machine stitched the two rectangles before assembling the card:

What a difference a bit of stitching makes, don’t you think?!

And this is how the finished card looks. Don’t you just love the Heart of Home dimensional stickers.

And this is how the other two cards look. For the card below I cut three tags in different sizes which I adhered half on top of each other. The sticker of the little birdie and the little strip of washi tape are  the perfect finishing touches. Of course I had to add a bit of stitching as well, even if it’s only a tiny bit.

And for the last card I used the journaling card “I’ve got your back” (cut from the Heart of Home patterned paper) which seems the perfect sentiment for World Kindness Day.

I really like how these cards turned out! Hope I’ve been able to inspire you to create a few cards for World Kindness Day as well!

Thank You Cards for Veteran’s Day

Hi, Renee here today to share a couple of thank you cards using the America the Beautiful collection in celebration of Veteran’s Day.  Veteran’s Day is an official United States holiday that honors military veterans.  You can create and send these thank you cards with messages of love and appreciation to family and friends who have served in the United States Armed Forces.

These cards measure 4″ x 6″.  I trimmed the Declaration and Patriotic Posies pattern papers to 3 ¾” x 5 ¾” and adhered them each to white card bases.

My card sentiment was centered along the bottom of the cards.

I centered flag and heart Die-Cuts at the top of each card.

For a final touch, I added flower and Star stickers around the die-cut embellishments.

Instead of using a plain woodgrain pattern paper for this card, I used one with the state names on it.  I really like the design.
