Hello Pebbles Friends! It’s Leanne here today, sharing a fun step-by-step guide to creating Halloween Cards using the new Pebbles Inc Midnight Haunting collection.
Just like usual, I like to keep my crafting clean and simple. These fun cards are no different. Add a little cardstock and plenty of embellishments from the Midnight Haunting Collection and these cards come together in next to no time at all!!
card 1 | step 1:
Gather your supplies: white cardstock folded to create a 4″x6″ card base; two x 1mm paper strips, measuring the length of the card; 1″ paper strip, plus the border edge from patterned paper (Eyes on You); die cut pumpkin embellishment; puffy stickers; twine.
step 2:
Add the thin paper/cardstock strips to the edge of the patterned paper border as shown below. Adhere them to the vertical opening edge of the card base.
step 3:
Mount the die-cut embellishment onto a piece of foam tape and add it to the lower part of the decorative border.
step 4:
Complete the card by adding a length of twine and a few puffy bat stickers.
card 2 | step 1:
Gather you supplies: white cardstock folded to create a 4″x6″ card base; patterned paper trimmed to 3.75″x 2″ (Pumpkin Patch); patterned paper trimmed to 3.75″x5.75″ (Batty); die-cut ephemera; two x patterned paper border strip (Batty); access to machine stitching; twine.
step 2:
Adhere the Pumpkin Patch patterned paper to the Batty patterned paper, both pieces showing the darker/black paper. Machine stitch around the outside edge. Layer one border strip over the place where the paper pieces join. Trim it to the width of the patterned paper and layer over the top of the stitching. Secure the patterned paper to the card base with adhesive tape.
step 3:
Add a piece a twine under the paper border, then add a second paper border strip as shown below. Complete the card by mounting the die-cut ephemera on foam tape and then adding it to the card.
card 3 | step 1:
Gather your supplies: black cardstock folded to create a 4″x6″ card base; 3.75″x5.75″ specialty vellum sheet; 1″ paper strip, the border edge from patterned paper (Eyes on You);3.5″x4″ Batty patterned paper frame; die-cut ephemera.
step 2:
Trim the specialty vellum to size and add the border strip/patterned paper to the lower edge, leaving approximately 1″ of vellum still showing.
step 3:
Turn the vellum over and add adhesive to the reverse side, behind the patterned paper.
step 4:
Secure the paper frame which was created using the We R Memory Keepers Frame Punch Board.
step 5:
Complete your card by wrapping some gold thread around the base of the frame and mounting the die-cut ephemera onto foam tape. Finish with extra detail by using the puffy stickers.
Happy Halloween Friends! I hope these cards have inspired you to play with the new Midnight Haunting collection..x
