Baby Girl Lullaby Cards

Hello Pebbles Friends! It is Leanne here today sharing a set of three Baby Girl Lullaby Cards. These three cards have been put together using left over cardstock and pretty patterned papers.

Create a set of three Baby Girl Lullaby cards using @pebblesInc supplies!

step 1.

When I scrapbook, I always scrap in 8.5″x11″ size. This often leaves me with plenty of leftover cardstock strips measuring 12″x3.5″. Whether you have pre-cut strips like myself or need to create these cards from scratch, grab a fresh sheet of cardstock and trim three strips from the 12″x12″ size (you’ll need the extra strips later).

step 2.

Score and fold the strips at 3″ and 6″. See image below.

step 3.

Trim three more pieces of cardstock measuring 3.5″x6″.

step 4.

Using a choice of patterned papers, layer them onto the top of the 3.5″x6″ cardstock strips to create the front cover of each card. Embellish them further with Ephemera Cardstock Die-cuts.

step 5.

Add foam dots between the layers. Adhere the patterned papers towards the top of the  Card.

step 6.

Add Lullaby Baby Girl thickers to the lower edge of the card cover.

step 7.

Assemble the card by embellishing the inside with leftover patterned paper and 3″x4″ cut apart sentiments.

step 8.

Line up the lower edge of the cover with the folded over edge of the base card. Add adhesive to the folded section only on the base cardstock. This allows the card to stand like an “A” frame.

step 9.

Complete any extra embellishing by adding puffy stickers and cardstock die-cuts.

*Other decorative ideas can include scallop edging, stickers and stitching.

Thanks for visiting the Pebbles blog today. Hopefully you’ve been inspired to create a set of three cards to welcome in the new bundles of joy in your life!

Hello Pebbles peeps. Heather Leopard  here to show you a cute baby gift idea for documenting all those 12 month bundle of joy milestones. This is exactly what every new mommy needs, along with sleep. Am I right?

milestones baby gift | mini album by Heather Leopard using @pebblesinc #lullaby collection #madewithpebbles #scrapbooking #minialbum #scrapbook #baby #babymilestones

This is the gift that keeps giving!  Included in this is an album with a page for each month, a spot for a photo and journaling prompts. You can also include the Lullaby collection monthly stickers for the parents to apply to onesies. Simply pull out the sticker for that month, apply to the onesie, snap and print a photo of precious baby and voila!  You’ve documented the month and now your photo perfectly matches the mini album.  Easy breezy!

To begin:

Here’s what you need to get started…

  • patterned paper for mini album pages
  • patterned paper with the months pre-printed
  • Download the “about me” template I created for journaling (print on plain paper)
  • monthly labels

Choosing prints:

To get started, I used patterned paper printed with journaling cards for the cover.  I cut it to 6″ x 6″.  Of course that meant that the bottom was cut through half of the design. My easy solution was to add a paper strip to the bottom to cover that up.  I stitched it with my sewing machine before adhering it to the cover so the stitching would show through the back.  This also made a great spot to add the baby’s name.

Inside pages:

Next, I cut the inside pages.  I suggest you cut these slightly smaller than the cover so the edges of the pages don’t stick out when you fold it in half.

The monthly 2″ x 3″ patterned paper cards are perfect for this.  You can download the “about me” template I used HERE.

I used two pages for each month.  I included a spot for the month, about me and a place for a 4″ x 4″ photo. Here is the entire album:

You can see each of the pages above.  I also included a spot for when the baby is born on the inside cover as well as a gender reveal card and a pocket for additional notes.

And once this sweet little bundle of joy turns one, this is the perfect spot for a cake smashing photo!

So there you have it.  I can’t wait to gift this to my friend, who’s having her baby this month!  I hope she treasures it as much as I enjoyed making it for her.  Remember that you can include a set of onesies and monthly onesie stickers that match the album.  What do you think?

Hello everyone, it’s Eva Pizarro here today sharing a baby mini album made with the lovely Lullaby collection.

Record your little one's memories with this baby mini album made by @evapizarrov and @pebblesinc new collection #lullaby

In this collection, you will find baby boy and baby girl papers and embellishments.  Both color choices are perfect to record your little one’s memories. I particularly love the the cute animals and the polka dots thickers!

I made this baby mini album for a friend and also assembled a cardboard box to easier store the album and (maybe) some memorabilia inside.

The baby mini album has cardboard covers.  Everything is held together with a piece of coordinating ribbon. Inside, the mini album holds (10) 4″x6″ pictures.  On one side I left a photo space and on the other I placed journaling cards.

These small animals are the cutest! I cut them from one of the patterned papers.

I also used my electronic cutting machine to add words and embellishments. I love to mix fonts and used a die cuts in addition to thickers for my front cover (and some of the inside pages as well).

Here are more of the inside pages:

Baby Boy and Girl Cards

Hello Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here to share a set of baby boy and girl cards that I created using the Lullaby collection. I love making cards! Creating cards for new babies is one of my favorite things to do. Of course, when I need to create a card for a new mom or a new baby, I reach for the Lullaby collection. This collection has everything you need (and more!) for creating cards, invitations, baby books and even home decor.

These cards came together so easily with some patterned paper and a few die cuts. To make the creative process easier, I used the same basic design for both cards. Both cards have a small animal die cut, the “Love You” banner sentiment and a few flower die cuts. To give the cards texture and a little bit of dimension, I added foam adhesive behind some of the die cuts and a white bow tied with white crochet thread to the little animals. On both of the cards, there are two embellishment clusters (but they are each a little bit different).

The blue baby boy card has an embellishment cluster on both sides of the sentiment. The little white bow is tied and adhered around the neck of the deer.

On the pink baby girl card, I added an additional embellishment cluster below the grey bunny die cut. To add a little bit of interest to the card, I tucked the flower die cut underneath the front of the bunny die cut. Both die cuts are adhered with dimensional adhesive.

While I don’t know of any baby gifts that I’ll be giving in the foreseeable future, I’m always glad to have cards on hand for those moments when I do need a quick gift. Whether or not you’re in need of a baby card, you’ll love creating with the Lullaby collection. Thank you for stopping by the Pebbles blog today. I’ll see you again soon! Happy crafting!

Let Your Cards Do The Talking!

When it comes to making cards, whether for a specific recipient or just to have in my stash, I think it’s okay to let your cards do the talking!  Sometimes it doesn’t take much more than the sentiment on the front of the card (and sometimes you can fill the entire inside with many, many, many more words!).  I love the “Girl Squad ” collection for cardmaking and the little journaling cards and sentiments are just perfect for them!

Let the journaling on the patterned papers say it for you - like these cards by @WendysueA featuring the "Girl Squad" collection by @PebblesInc.

I used two different patterned papers with “journaling” or text…in addition to the little square sentiment cards.  Of course I’ll write on the inside, but honestly, the outside says it all!  Here’s how easy it is to whip up these cards:

Start with a text paper base (4″ x 5 1/4″):

Next, cut a 4″ x 3″ piece of a coordinating text paper and place it on the base:

Now add the sentiment square:

Cut a paper doily in half and place it under the middle block:

The next step is to cover the rough edge with a strip of coordinating paper and tie a black string around the entire piece:

Add a strip of coordinating washi tape across the top of the block:

Add a few stickers (I added leaves and a flower):

In addition, I used foam adhesive squares to pop up the flower:

Finally, place the entire piece on a white cardstock base:

See how easy that was?  So easy, you can whip up another one in no time at all!

Next time you have to make a card, choose papers with text, or journaling in the design and let your card do the talking!!
