Hello everyone, it’s Eva here bringing you a tutorial for these cute Paper Fans using your favorite designs from the Sunshiny Days collection.
I love to have backyard parties but sometimes the heat can be too much! These paper fans are easy to make and would make a very cute favor for your next outdoor party!
To make this project use your Trim and Score Board to score your 12 x 12 inch paper every half an inch.
Next, cut your paper in three and bend all the creases. Make a long strip by glueing the edges together (I only used 2 and a half strips)
To create the fan I made holes with my Crop a Dile and then run a thread through them. It’s important to knot the thread really tight, I found that it was easier for me to knot the thread with the fan completely open.
After that, use a rolling pin to flatten some paper straws and use your glue gun to attach them to your fan. Trim the paper straw if necessary.
Finally to embellish the Paper Fans I added a gold pin with a tag. I used my Crop a Dile and my Corner Chomper to create the tags and then embellish them with stickers from the Sunshiny Days collection and some word Stickers from the Simple Life line.
To add a bit of texture to the tags I used my Fuse tool cold and run it through the edge of my tags. I love the effect!
The metal clips help you hold the Paper Fan open and closed.
The Paper Fans are super cute and practical! You could even put one on your purse and bring it to your next outdoor event!
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you can make these cute paper fans yourself!
Did you like the Fuse Tool tip? Here’s another layout where I used that technique!
Have a great week!
