Circles & Squares: Card Set

Well hello there, Pebbles friends! It’s Wendy Sue here today, and I’m excited to share my “Circles & Squares” card set with you today!  I love finding fun ways to use up scraps, or odds & ends, without the finished project actually looking like it was created from scraps!  I pulled out my circle punches (several sizes) and started punching phrases and images from some leftover “Woodland Forest” papers.  After playing around with them, I ended up placing them in little collages on these square card bases to create this fun set:

Here’s a closer look at the cards.  This one is the most simple:

I decided to add a bit more texture to the other cards, so I pulled some old embossing folders out of my stash and added some texture to the plain white cardstock.  This one has more circles!

This one has a woodgrain background, which I thought worked well with the leaves in the images I punched out:

Did you notice the enamel dots on the cards?  And I also added foam adhesive dots behind some of the circles for just a touch of added dimension:

All of these options from a few old punches:

Happy Layout

Hi, Renee here today to share a Happy layout using the wonderful Jen Hadfield Warm & Cozy collection.  My favorite scrapbooking products are pattern papers.  I love the colors and designs.  I also love that if you run out of embellishments (hopefully that never happens 😉 ), then you can transform pattern paper into a pretty embellishment.  I used an older favorite fall photo for this page.  I played off the neutral colors in the photo and created a fun and simple background using strips of pattern papers.  This layout did not take long to create.

I started this layout using the Fall Botanical pattern paper as my background and adhered some Chipboard Leaves to the left side of the page.

I adhered 2″ x 6″ strips of different pattern papers to the right side of my page.  Love the neutrals against the red woodgrain design!

I used the We R Memory Keepers Frame Punch Board to add a delicate frame around my photo:

  1. I decided to go with the Sprigs pattern paper for this photo.
  2. I trimmed the pattern paper to 4″ x 6″.
  3. I placed the corner alignment bars at the .25″ frame thickness holes and punched all four corners.
  4. I placed the cut alignment bar at the .25″ holes and cut from corner to corner on all four sides.
  5. I placed the corner alignment bars into the corner rounder holes and punched all four corners.
  6. I added adhesive to the frame, lined up my photo to adhere them together, and trimmed off the excess.  Perfect!

I added my pretty framed photo to the page and bent the pattern papers up a bit for dimension.  I thought about making the frame a bit thicker.  I decided not to because I didn’t want to cover up the strips of pattern papers underneath.

I added just a few embellishments around my photo.  I didn’t want to add too much because I wanted the focus to stay on my photo and the great background I created with the pattern papers and leaves.  I used the “happy” Word Sticker for the title of my layout.  I added a little bird and string of lights Stickers on opposite corners of the photo.

I added a fall floral bouquet Die-Cut to my page.  I love the rose gold shine!

DIY Patterned Paper Fall Banner

Hello Pebbles fans! It’s Monique on the blog today sharing a fun and easy DIY Fall project: a decorative banner to bring an Autumn feel to any room! As Autumn is my favorite season of the year I love creating projects like these to brighten up my home. For today’s project I chose the awesome Woodland Forest collection with the beautiful patterns and cute die-cuts.

Decorative Fall Banner made by @MoniqueLiedtke using the #WoodlandForest collection from @PebblesInc.

To create the six pennants I chose six different patterned papers and three different colored sheets of cardstock. The 6 pennants each measure 7.5″ x 5.5″.

Before adhering the patterned papers to the cardstock pieces I embellished and machine stitched them first. I cut the word “Fall” from the Apple Cider sheet, using the mini alphabet punch board from We R Memory Keepers:

This was so much fun and so super easy to do! The punch board comes with an instruction booklet with instructions on how to create each letter of the alphabet, plus the & and the ! and the numbers 0 – 9.

Once the letters and the embellishments were in place I assembled all the pieces of the banner and used some orange colored twine to string them together. I really love the result!

Here are close-ups of the separate pennants. I adore the cute die-cuts in the Woodland Forest collection!

Patterned Paper Gift Bags

Hello Everyone! It is Leanne here today and I am excited to share with you a quick and easy way to create DIY gift bags using patterned paper from the Woodland Forest collection and the WeRMemoryKeepers Gift Bag punch board.

Create fun DIY #patternedpaper gift bags using @PebblesInc gorgeous new #WoodlandForestcollection with @leanne_allinson

These paper bags are so incredibly versatile, and let’s face it, we can always use a little gift bag to brighten someone’s day. And let’s not even mention all the opportunities such as birthdays or the holiday season that is about to descend upon us, where these bags will be more than appreciated!!

Patterned paper with a seasonal print just adds a little something extra to the gift giving experience, but with the bags I’m sharing today, I wanted to mix up patterned paper combinations, creating either a collar or a decorative band.

Create fun DIY #patternedpaper gift bags using @PebblesInc gorgeous new #WoodlandForestcollection with @leanne_allinson.

Each bag base has been created using a normal 12″x12″ piece of patterned paper with a coordinating piece trimmed to 2.5″x12″. Start creating by following the easy instructions on how to create your gift bag base with the punch board. To add a collar to the top of the bag, I recommend that it is added before the ribbon holes have been punched. Here is how I put mine together:

Create fun DIY #patternedpaper gift bags using @PebblesInc gorgeous new #WoodlandForestcollection with @leanne_allinson.

As shown in the photo above, the collars have been trimmed from patterned paper cut to 2.5″ wide and 12″ in length. For the red stitched floral gift bag, I left the border trim (found at the bottom of the patterned paper) attached, to create an extra detail at the top of the bag. Another option is to use a scallop border punch or similar to attract attention.

Create fun DIY #patternedpaper gift bags using @PebblesInc gorgeous new #WoodlandForestcollection with @leanne_allinson.

Add a score line to the top of the 2.5″x12″ paper piece at the 0.5″ mark. Score and add adhesive all along the top of the reverse side of the paper, making sure it is between the score line and top edge. Carefully add the collar to the top of your gift bag base. If your gift bag requires ribbon handles, now is the time to add the holes. Continue to follow the instructions with the gift bag punch board as your guide.

Complete your gift bag by adding cute details such as a fussy cut patterned paper flower spray of create your own tags.

I personally think it’s the details that make gift giving a little more special!

To create the gift bag above, follow the same instructions on the punch board twice, but vary the height difference. Once you have created two bags, slip the larger one inside the smaller one and secure with adhesive. Add extra details such as a patterned paper bow and decorative border band.

There are no limitations when it comes to creating fun gift giving trimmings, especially when beautiful patterned paper  is involved! Thanks for visiting here today..x
