Foiled Leaves Garland

Hello everyone! I’m Eva Pizarro and today I want to share with you a quick tutorial for a Fall Garland using Pebbles new Warm & Cozy line.

This line has beautiful papers and embellishments and my favorite were the Printed Chipboard Leaves. The package contains 24 leaves with different prints and shapes, when I saw them I knew I had to make a home decor and use them all together.

Start by embellishing your leaves. Put some masking tape on half of them and use the Minc Reactive Foil and Minc Reactive Paint to embellish them. I did some dots on the other half of the leaves. you can make stripes or use a stencil also!

Run the leaves through your Minc with the Rose Gold foil.

The foil effect is amazing, I love the look! If you don’t have a Minc machine you can use the washi tape strips in this collection to add accents to the leaves. I think it would look lovely as well!

Add some stitching with your sewing machine right in the middle of your leaves and bend them a little to add more dimension.

Secure them by adding a small dot of hot glue on the back.

Your garland is ready and you can use it to decorate your mantle, your front door, a mirror or a shelf!

I think the foil gives the leaves a unique look. What do you think? Do you decorate your home during the fall?

Hello Pebbles friends and fans, Becki here. Fall is finally here!!! I am SO excited! I have an Autumn layout featuring the Warm & Cozy collection to share with you today.

Autumn Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #scrapbooking #madewithpebbles #Autumnlayout

Recently, my brother’s family and my family took a short fishing trip to a pond near our home. I chose to document this Autumn layout with the Warm & Cozy collection.Autumn Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #scrapbooking #madewithpebbles #AutumnlayoutI turned on my video camera while I created this layout so I have a process video to go along with my Autumn Layout featuring the Warm & Cozy collection. I’ll share the process video in a minute but first I want to share a few photos with you.

Autumn Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc #scrapbooking #madewithpebbles #Autumnlayout

I chose my favorite 3 photos from our fishing trip and printed them as  3×4 photos. I spread them in a strip across the layout with the title on above the photos and the journaling below the layout.

I separated the photos and journaling with a piece of ribbon with a strip of washi tape. Each end of the ribbon is secured with a couple of staples.

There are two embellishments clusters one to the left of the title and one on the right of the journaling. This creates a diagonal line across the layout from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. Now you can see how it all comes together in the process video:

Shaped Autumn Leaves Cards

Hi friends!  It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing one of my favorite types of projects – shaped cards!  I love this time of year, when the leaves on the trees start changing colors.  The reds, oranges, and yellows are my favorite for sure!  Enter these shaped autumn leaves cards!!  The papers in the “Woodland Forest” collection are just perfect for these fall cards!  First take a little peek at my cards, then read on to see how easy they are to create!

I use my silhouette cameo to create my shaped cards.  It’s easy to do with pretty much any shape.  Of course, if the shape has one side that is relatively flat or straight, it’s easier.  For this card, I chose an autumn leaf and opened it up in the software.

Next, I used the “mirror down” option to duplicate the shape.  Depending on which side is straight, you might want to mirror left or right.  Just remember whichever direction you mirror will determine how your card will open.Autumn colors shaped leaf cards by @wendysue for @pebblesinc with the "Woodland Forest" collection

Finally, nudge the shapes closer together, or even slightly overlap them.  Then use the “weld” function to attach them.  Cut out the shape and fold in half.  Embellish as desired!Autumn colors shaped leaf cards by @wendysue for @pebblesinc with the "Woodland Forest" collection

I cut out a total of three cards, using plain white cardstock as my card base.  Next, I cut a slightly smaller leaf out of three different patterned papers.  Here’s a look at the yellow card:

After attaching the smaller colored leaf to the card base, I added the “stem” part of the leaf (cut from brown patterned paper).

Next, I attached printed cardstock shapes near the stem, using foam adhesive dots to secure them.

The sentiments are cut from the tiny squares paper in the 6×6 paper pad.

Using a small hole punch, I tied the shape and sentiment to the stem.

The twine is the perfect embellishment for these shaped autumn leaves cards!

The next time you find yourself in a card-making mood, try stepping out of the box and create a shaped card!
