Foiled Leaves Garland

Hello everyone! I’m Eva Pizarro and today I want to share with you a quick tutorial for a Fall Garland using Pebbles new Warm & Cozy line.

This line has beautiful papers and embellishments and my favorite were the Printed Chipboard Leaves. The package contains 24 leaves with different prints and shapes, when I saw them I knew I had to make a home decor and use them all together.

Start by embellishing your leaves. Put some masking tape on half of them and use the Minc Reactive Foil and Minc Reactive Paint to embellish them. I did some dots on the other half of the leaves. you can make stripes or use a stencil also!

Run the leaves through your Minc with the Rose Gold foil.

The foil effect is amazing, I love the look! If you don’t have a Minc machine you can use the washi tape strips in this collection to add accents to the leaves. I think it would look lovely as well!

Add some stitching with your sewing machine right in the middle of your leaves and bend them a little to add more dimension.

Create a garland by running your leaves trough your sewing machine.

Secure them by adding a small dot of hot glue on the back.

Your garland is ready and you can use it to decorate your mantle, your front door, a mirror or a shelf!

I think the foil gives the leaves a unique look. What do you think? Do you decorate your home during the fall?

If you liked this post you probably will like this other one too! Here are some small thank you cards made with the same technique.

[…] Wrap your candles with some tissue paper and embellish with a sticker and some leaves. I used the one I had left from this project! […]
