Hello everyone! It’s Eva Pizarro on the blog today sharing a tutorial on how to use use your favorite patterned paper to create a fun layout.
I love the oval frames and I knew I needed to cut them to create my own background with pictures of my little boy’s first costume party. He dressed up like Harry Potter and he was the cutest!
To cut the oval frames I used my Pixscan and traced the paper (Read this tutorial about tracing and cutting designs from patterned paper). You can easily do the same with scissors and lots of patience.
The big frames are die cuts that had spooky images. Cut off the images, place them on top of your photos and cut the excess.
Because I didn’t wanted to fill all my page with frames I divided my page in half with a big patterned paper triangle. I added some small strips of paper and my pictures.
I added some small alphas and my title. Finally I glued my frames in random positions.
I finished my layout decorating with puffy stickers and more die cuts.
And that’s it! I think this Halloween portraits are the cutest!
The black half of the page lets the eye rest and balances the page perfectly!
Do you like it? I hope you do! I am sure you have some halloween photos perfect for this oval frames!
Halloween collections are not only for Halloween themed crafts! I created this black and white layout with scraps of a Halloween line!
Have a great day!
