Die Cut Background Layout

Hello everyone! Eva Pizarro here today showing you how to make a quick layout using your die cut machine and the lovely Woodland Forest collection

I love the different pattern in this collection, they have a gorgeous color combination and the designs include cute critters, leaves and gnomes! This line is perfect to scrapbook your fall memories!

Because I wanted to showcase all this different designs I thought I would use a die cut and back all the shapes with different patterned papers. If you don’t have a die cut machine use a punch or patterned paper squares and create a grid design, I am sure the result will be awesome!

Glue some photos to your shapes as well and place your die cut design over a sheet of kraft cardstock

For my title I decided to put a letter on top of every patterned paper to create the phrase “Our life is pretty amazing”.

Finish your layout by adding embellishments like little die cuts, rubber shapes and phrase stickers

See how quickly I made this layout? Because the background has lots of colors and patterns there’s no need to add too many embellishments.

The black and white photos really pop with the white die cut shape

And here’s another look to your layout!

I think it is the perfect way to use your 6×6 pads or also scraps of paper! In fact most of my patterned paper came for scraps from this other project I posted a few days ago.

What do you do with your scraps? How do you organize them? I put them in a small ziplock bag next to my collection.

Have a great week!
Eva
