Hello everyone! How are you? Are you ready to celebrate Mother’s Day? I’m Eva Pizarro and today I am going to show you a quick and easy gift to give to your mum this year. Since my mum became a grandmother all she wants is spend time with Lorenzo and some cute pictures of him to display in her house, I though it would be fun to create some magnets for her fridge with photos of Lorenzo and some of my sister and I (just to remind her that we exist too! 🙂 )
This project is very easy and you can create more than one set at a time to give to someone else too.
Print your photos in photographic paper, mine are 2 inches wide. You are also going to need Chipboard and magentic paper.
Use your Sticky Thumb double sided tape to create your magnets. Put your magnetic paper on the bottom and top with the chipboard and the photo.
Take some washi tape and cover all the borders creating a frame.
Your magnets are done! Use some twine to hold them together.
For the packaging I am using these lovely boxes from the Everyday Collection. In each box you will find 2 of each 4 designs and all you have to do is peel the adhesive on one of the sides and assemble your box.
To embellish the box I used some Hemp Cord and this beautiful floral tag,
My little gift is ready and I know my mum is going to love it! I hope you liked it too!
Looking for another quick gift? Here’s an idea from Becki Adams using the lovely Cottage Living collection.
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone!
Eva
