Hi, Renee here to share a lovely and fun Spring layout using the Jen Hadfield Everyday collection along with some bits from the Spring Fling collection. Hope you had a wonderful Easter celebration with your loved ones. Spring is here! Yay, finally. No more cabin fever, right? Bright and happy spring-filled days call for a bright and happy Spring layout.
I used a 4″ x 4″ photo of my girls from spring last year. I love this photo…allergy eyes and all. I found a Zig Zag Path Quilt Block Pattern image on Pinterest and was completely inspired by it for this Spring layout.
I used the Happy Thoughts pattern paper for my background. The woodgrain pattern goes well with Caitie’s hair color and the wood fence in my photo. I used two 4″ x 4″ squares cut into triangles of the Sunny Blossoms pattern paper and placed them at all four corners of the page. I used three 4″ x 4″ squares cut into triangles of the Honeycomb pattern paper and created my zig zag pattern.
For my title, I love the pop of blue with floral mix from the Ella Thickers.
More flower and bee stickers here.
A stamp mark on the bunny bothered me enough that I covered it up with a wood veneer shape. I added some white acrylic paint to the wood shape and made a puffy tail for the cute little bunny.
I’m excited (and a bit nervous) to share my first scrapbooking process video! I hope you enjoy it. Happy Creating!
