Potted Paper Flower

Did you receive any fresh flowers for Easter ? I do love real flowers but unfortunately, real flowers don’t live long unlike paper flowers do. This pretty Paper Flower is a perfect spring gift to make for someone that keeps on giving.

Assembling Potted Paper Flower cut file made with Silhouette and the @pebblesinc Everyday collection

To make this Potted Paper Flower, I used my Silhouette to cut out all the pieces in a 3D Flower in a Pot cut file.

I then assembled the flower layers and pieces together and inked the edges for dimension.

Added a rhinestone in the middle of the flower.

Then, I curled all the flowers petals and voila, a pretty paper flower has bloomed!

Easter Layout

Hey there Pebbles friends, Becki here. I’m excited to share with you a layout I created using the new Everyday collection. I’ve also got a special treat for you today. I created a process video to show you how this layout came together.

Easter Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesinc

Oh my, I LOVE this collection! I’ve already used it for SO many projects. I reach for it all the time. I love the bright, bold, classic colors.  The first things I wanted to create with in this collection were the florals and stripes. I combined both of these on this layout. I grabbed my scissors and started fussy cutting flowers before I even chose the title or background paper for my layout .

I think you’ll enjoy watching how this layout came together. Here’s the video:

The details are what really make this layout shine.

The journaling on this layout reads:

“We celebrated Easter 2015 without our Kayleigh. Even though we REALLY (REALLY) missed her, I am so glad she got to go to Nebraska with Grammy, Grampy, and Brooklyn. Who would have guessed that one short year later Grammy would be battling cancer and wouldn’t be making a Spring Break trip to see the cousins in 2016. I’m sure that for Spring Break 2017 Grammy will be ready for another Nebraska adventure with her girls.”

Thanks for stopping by the Pebbles blog. If you like this layout with stripes and florals, I’m sure you’d like THIS one too (it’s one of my personal favorites). Have a happy Wednesday.

Hello Pebbles fans! Amy from The Happy Scraps here today, and I’m sharing these fun Easter cards with you today. The Spring Fling Collection is just right for Easter crafting. Whether you are scrapbooking those photos from the last weekend or are creating something else, Spring Fling will work! I created these fun cards and I’m sharing them with you today.

Create some colorful & fun Easter cards with the #springfling collection from @pebblesinc with these tips from @thehappyscraps.

I cut my card bases from white cardstock. I cut a piece of Spring Fling Patchwork and mounted it on the card.

Using my sewing machine, I stitched around the butterfly paper.

I added the balloon sticker from the Spring Fling foiled cardstock stickers.

Using the bunny from the Spring Fling foiled cardstock stickers, I used this technique to un-stick the sticker. It’s the first time I’ve tried this, and I think I’m hooked! Then I used dimensional adhesive squares to attach the bunny to the card.

I added the Spring Fling Gold Foiled Thickers spelling the word Easter at the bottom of the card. I found the word “happy” on a tear strip from one of the papers in the collection. I mounted it on the card using dimensional squares as well.

For this card, I decided to fold the card base differently. I folded both sides in, making it open in the middle. I cut the Spring Fling Celebration cardstock to fit the front of the card, and then cut it in half. I lined up the polka dots with each other when I mounted it on the card.

I added a rosette to the center. Once it was centered on the card, half of the adhesive dot on the back was exposed, so I again used some baby powder to un-stick it.

I used a punch to punch out this bunny from the Spring Fling Doily paper and mounted it on the front of the rosette.

Using the Hello tag from the Spring Fling Sticker Book with Gold Foil I took the sticky off the back as well. Then I used dimensional squares to mount it onto the card. Then added a cute yellow flower from the Spring Fling Puffy Stickers.

I also added Spring Fling Puffy Stickers Flower to the top corner of the card.

I love all the dimension on this card!

I had so much fun stitching on the first card, that I decided to do it again on this card. I picked out some colorful paper I wanted to use on the front of the card.

I mounted the bottom two papers and stitched around the top piece first. Then I added the pink flag, and finished stitching the card.

Once I had the stitching all done, I added the Spring Fling Gold Foiled Thickers.

I hand cut out a bunny from the Spring Fling Doily paper and added the yellow jute twine to it. Then I mounted it on the pink with dimensional squares.

I cut the “hello” from the Spring Fling From Me To You paper and mounted it above the word Easter.

These cards really were so fun to make, and they could easily be used for any occasion, not just Easter. Just change the words you put on the cards.

Get ready to hunt for eggs, treats and goodies this Easter with a fun and trendy little DIY basket from the in-house design team at Pebbles! Whether you give this little guy away as a sweet Easter gift or keep it all for yourself, it is sure to bring some smiles and sunshine.

Grab your supplies and get ready to create. Read on to get the step-by-step tutorial on how to make your very own!

PB-6

Using the die cut two baskets shapes, three strips and one each of the tags in the geranium and sunflower cardstock.

PB-7

Fold paper at the fold lines.

PB-8

Lay the basket shapes inside the other to form the basket.  Attach a little adhesive to the bottom to hold the two pieces together.

PB-9

Use the polka dot side of the paper strips to form the top edge of the basket.  When this is attached your basket will stay together.  Attach the third strip as the basket handle.

PB-10

Cut additional ½” strips of paper to adhere around the eggs. Attach cardstock shapes to eggs.

PB-11

Attach sticker crown to the bunny and paper flowers using adhesive dots. Layer the Geranium and Sunflower cardstock pennants and adhere the smaller size on top of the larger size.  Write the word “Spring” and then attach to the bunny.

PB-12

Attach bunny to the wooden stick and place into the basket.

PB-13

PB-15

And that’s it! You’ve got a sweet little Easter basket that’s perfect for giving to a friend (or keeping for yourself). Happy Easter and happy crafting, dear friends!

Mini Easter Baskets

Howdy Pebbles fans! Amanda here today. Easter Sunday is just a few days away, but it’s not too late to put together a quick and easy gift basket that you can fill with goodies. You can complete this project with a couple of empty containers and a piece of paper. It really is that easy!

It is fun to give sweet treats during the Easter holiday week whether to a neighbor or friend or family member. While candy may be the typical gift of choice, you can stuff these little baskets with other small gifts, or even a dollar or two for the kiddos.

Mini Easter Baskets by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc Spring Fling collection

Everything is cuter in miniature size. This sweet little Easter basket is just big enough to hold an Easter egg or two.

The gingham patterned paper makes it look like a little woven basket. The Spring Fling collection is full of cute kraft patterned paper that would make equally cute Easter baskets. And embellishments are optional. This gingham basket would still be perfectly cute all on its own.

Each basket is made with a repurposed can (inexpensive and good for the Earth) and two strips of paper. Measure the height of the can and cut your gingham paper to size. Cut a narrower strip of paper to create the basket handle.

Adhere the narrow strip of paper (basket handle) to the can before wrapping the can with the wide strip of paper.

Fill the baskets with Easter eggs, candy, or other fun goodies and be sure to give them away. Your friends and family will love them! Happy Easter!
