Perfect Parties Cards

Hello. Amy here today from The Happy Scraps. I’m excited to be here today sharing these cards with you. I got out the brand new Spring Fling collection to put these together, and I think I’m hooked! The combination of the Kraft colors + the pink, yellow, green, white, etc., is just perfect! Today I’m sharing these cards with you that would be perfect for any party or celebration that you have coming up. Birthday, Wedding, etc., the Spring Fling collection is perfect.

The @pebblesinc #SpringFling collection is the perfect collection to help you celebrate any occasion. Here are several ideas from @thehappyscraps.

The entire Spring Fling collection is bursting at the seams with cuteness. I picked out some of the papers and embellishments that I thought I might use when I sat down to make these cards.

The @pebblesinc #SpringFling collection is the perfect collection to help you celebrate any occasion. Here are several ideas from @thehappyscraps.

I picked out the Scattered Daisies paper and used the back of it for the base of my first card. I also found the gold foiled flags in the pack of printed cardstock and vellum shapes. I pulled out some brown ink, and inked the edges of the white card base, as well as the pieces I was adding to the front.

I adhered the pretty back side of the Scattered Daisies to the front of my card.

I used some light colored twine and tied a bow on the top of this piece.

Then I attached it to the card.

I found this cute mason jar in the pack of printed cardstock and vellum shapes as well. I pulled out the Spring Fling Puffy Stickers and found a flower that matched. I placed it over the top of the printed flower to give it more dimension. Then I trimmed a couple of the flower leaves from the puffy stickers, to match the leaves as well. I attached this to the front of the pink polka dotted flag with some dimensional adhesive squares.

This is how the card turned out. It could be used to congratulate a newly wed couple, or given for a birthday card, or anything else that would be considered the “best day ever”. I love what the gold foil adds to this fun card!

For the next card, I picked out the Spring Fling Patchwork paper. I trimmed a piece for the front of my card, then inked the edges with brown ink.

Using one of the cards I cut from the Spring Fling paper with foil accents, I rounded the corners with my corner chomper. I inked the edges of this pretty cupcake card as well.

From the Spring Fling From Me to You paper, I cut out this “Happy Birthday” flag. I trimmed the end slightly so it would fit on my card.

I rounded the corners on one end of this, then inked the edges as well. I love how inking the edges can add just that little bit of extra to cards! I tied a pink twine bow around the end of the flag, then attached it to the card with dimensional adhesive squares. I also used dimensional adhesive squares to attach the cupcake card as well.

While this card may be a little more simple, I think it is stunning. The gold foil on the base of the cupcake really adds to it as well. I can’t wait to give this to someone for their birthday!

For this last card, I had so much fun putting it together. I used the Spring Fling Party Time paper for the base, and Spring Fling Celebration for the smaller pink piece on the card. I inked the edges again for this one as well.

I attached the pieces to the card, placing the pink piece in the lower right corner.

I grabbed a gold chevron paper straw from my stash and placed the Congratulations flag on it from the Spring Fling accent stickers pack.

In the pack printed cardstock and vellum shapes I found these adorable giraffes. I place dimensional adhesive squares on the back of them, and the placed them on the front of the card. Then attached the congratulations flag on the card as well.

Isn’t this just perfect for a wedding card? This whole Spring Fling line is perfect for celebrating almost any occasion!

So don’t wait, grab this paper collection and get creating!! I can’t wait to create more projects with this.

Valentine’s Day Party Fruit

Hello everyone!  Amanda here today.  Valentine’s Day candy is the best.  It is delicious to eat and fun to give.  But there is something fun and novel about giving non-candy Valentine’s day treats as a gift or serving non-candy treats at a party.  A healthy treat can really boost your energy when you are bogged down on sugary sweets.

Pebbles Be Mine Collection fruity puns are perfect for dressing plain ol’ fruit and turning it into a party treat.  Room moms listen up–this is a super fun way to get kids to eat some healthy fruit in the middle of their sugar bombed classroom parties.  My kids are already itching to eat this cute fruit.

There are a variety of fruity puns for a variety of appetites.  Not a room mom?  These treats would be perfect for family members, friends, or even coworkers.

Place fruit in a treat cup or cupcake wrapper for easy serving.  Insert the pick next to the fruit, or stick it right into the fruit so it stays put.  These coffee stirrers are way cute, but a skewer or toothpick would work just as well.

Step aside, paper trimmer.  It’s time for the decorative shears to go to work.  Using good ol’ pinking shears is an easy way to cut cards from a 12″ x 12″ piece of paper.  Plus, you get a cool looking edge.

Creating a decorative banner or garland is super easy with the WRMK banner punch board.  Use banners to spiff up your party space, or hang around the house just for fun.

The guides on the Banner Punch Board make it super easy to cut out banners all the same size.  Just run a sheet of paper through the punch board from one side to the other–no need to pre-cut individual rectangles.

Quick Gift Idea

Hi friends!  It’s Wendy Sue here today, sharing a fun little gift project!  Actually, it’s more of a gift wrap project, perfect for holding a homemade treat.  Giving someone a little bottle of preserves or jelly or some other homemade treat (or even a little jar full of store-bought treats) is always sweet and thoughtful.  Creating a unique, one-of-a-kind gift box makes it even more special!  With the pre-made gift boxes as a starting point, these boxes came together super fast!

Quick Gift Boxes by @Wendysuea with the new "Jen Hadfield - Everyday" Collection by @pebblesinc.

Begin by cutting the lid and flaps off of the little gift box.

Now assemble the box.

Next, cut two strips of paper from the 6×6 paper pad – one should be 1 3/4″ x 4″ and the other should be 1″x5″

Now cut some of the 2″ squares from the “Happy Thoughts” paper.

Using some foam dots to assemble the layers, adding a die-cut shape as the final touch to the box front.

After filling the small mason jar with a home-made (or store-bought) treat, use a circle punch to punch a coordinating paper and place under the ring on the jar top.

Finally, cut one of the “Happy Thoughts” from the 6×6 paper pad, punch a hole in the corner.

Tie around the jar lid with twine or jute.

Punched Rainbow Layout

Hello everyone! I’m Eva Pizarro and today I want to show you how you can make a quick and easy layout using your scraps of paper and a circle punch.

In December we celebrated our son’s birthday. I wanted to make the cake so it was easy for him to eat it, so I made a simple cake in a rainbow shape. That was my inspiration for this layout.

I used my circle punch and a lot of paper scraps in the colors of the rainbow. This is a quick and easy technique, and it can help you reduce that pile (or in my case HUGE box) of scraps.

Place the circles in any shape you want. I did a cute rainbow using a lot of scraps from different collections.

Place your photos and your title. I used a strip of little photos and some alphas from the DIY Home collection.

Embellish your rainbow. I used a lot of bits and pieces from the new Be Mine collection. The stickers are very cute and the collection has so many little designs that you can paper piece!

I finished my layout adding some journaling and a few embellishments on the bottom

You can add more dimension by using dimensional dots to adhere your embellishments.

See how these alphas shine? I love it!

I always try to find ways to use my scraps. For this layout for example I used bits and pieces from my box in different colors and covered them with enamel dots.

Have a great week!
