Hello everyone! Eva Pizarro here today showing you how to use your snowflakes in the Winter Wonderland collection to make a fabulous tree for your Christmas layouts.
I love the Winter Wonderland line from Pebbles Inc. The color combination is gorgeous, and although it is not a traditional Christmas line, you can definitely use it to scrap your holiday pictures. My favorite items from the collection are these big snowflakes. You get 22 in the package, and they are the perfect size to embellish gifts. Plus, they are covered with a subtle glitter! They are lovely! As soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to use some to make a tree.
To make it, simply choose some of the snowflakes and cut some pieces to form the tree.
Cut some pieces of paper from the 6 x 6 inch pad and cover the back of the snowflake, alternating designs.
When you have all your snowflakes ready, arrange them on your page and adhere them with liquid glue. If the snowflakes overlap a bit, simply trim the pieces away.
And here’s my final layout – I love how it turned out. The tree covers most of the space so you don’t need many embellishments.
I used some washi tape and some chipboard shapes to embellish the corners .
And I bent the paper a little to add some dimension.
I used some silver alphas for my title. My little baby is almost 1 year old and after years of trying to become parents, he finally arrived! He is truly our best Christmas gift ever!
The snowflakes look amazing with that subtle glitter and the little bits of color here and there.
I hope you liked this page and that you try it at home!
Eva
