Halloween Layout

Hello Pebbles friends, Becki here, to share with you this fun Halloween layout using the Heidi Swapp Minc Halloween Gallery Kit. There are also lots of layers of patterned paper. Here’s what I gathered to get started on this layout:

Halloween Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesincI chose purple foil to go with this layout. My daughter was a witch for Halloween last year and had a purple witch hat. I knew I wanted to add bits of purple to this layout.  Then I gathered some supplies from the Boo! collection (lots of patterned paper and stickers).

Halloween Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesincI layered a few patterned papers on top of the 8×10 spiderweb paper from the Halloween Minc set to create a giant mat for my photos and journaling.

Halloween Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesincIt’s hard to see the purple metallic spider webs in the photo but they’re gorgeous in real life. I wish you could all see the beautiful metallic finish in real life.

Halloween Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesincThe “boo” washi tape made the perfect addition to the layout right above my photos.

Halloween Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesincThe spider web die cut is from the Boo! Chips pack. I added some black machine stitching and a puffy spider.

Halloween Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesincI added a puffy jack-o-lantern sticker and a die cut on top of my photos. These puffy stickers are adorable and add the perfect amount of dimension and shine.

Halloween Layout by @jbckadams for @pebblesincAnd here’s the completed layout. What do you think? I think you should grab some supplies from the Boo! collection so you’ll be ready to document all those Halloween memories! Thanks for joining me on the Pebbles blog today!

Holly here from Ribbons & Glue with your sharing an easy DIY Halloween Gallery Wall Sign made with the Pebbles Inc Boo! and Home + Made collection and Heidi Swapp’s awesome Minc!

Halloween Wall Gallery Print from @pebblesinc and Heidi Swapp's Minc designed by @ribbonsandglue

I know I’ve said it before, but Halloween is my favorite holiday!  Just love decorating my house and creating an easy Gallery  Sign like this makes it even more fun!

Halloween Wall Gallery Print from @pebblesinc and Heidi Swapp's Minc

To make this Gallery Wall Sign, I ran the Gallery Wall Print through Heidi Swapp’s Minc Machine using silver foil.

@pebblesinc poster hanger from DIY Home collection

I then choose a piece of patterned paper from the Boo! collection that I wanted to display my Gallery Wall Print on and used the magnet Poster Hanger found in the Home + Made collection.  Love this magnet poster hanger idea, so easy to change it up for the seasons too!

Halloween Washi Tape from the @pebblesinc Boo! collection

Since the poster hanger is plain wood, I adhered Boo! Washi paper tape along the top an bottom of the hanger.  The washi paper is such an easy way to make the Poster Hanger interchangeable.

@pebblesinc Halloween Chips from the Boo! collection

I then embellished the Gallery Wall Print with printed chipboard shapes.

This Halloween Gallery Wall Sign was a quick and easy Halloween project to add in to my home decor this Halloween.

Hi, Renee here today to share a few Halloween cards using the adorable Boo! collection.  I love creating cards with fun scenes and the embellishments and stickers in the Boo! collection definitely helps me accomplish that.  I think these cards would be fun to give to family, friends, or teachers to wish them a Happy Halloween.

I started by picking out some cardstock colors that went well with this collection to use as the base for my cards.

I trimmed and folded them into 5″ x 7″ cards.

I cut a piece of the cute Washi Paper Tape and decided to leave the washi tapes on the sheet…

…add a bit of Sticky Thumb adhesive and machine stitching around the card.

I finished off the card with some pumpkins and “Trick or Treat” sentiment stickers.

I trimmed the Confetti pattern paper, adhered, and machine stitched it to my card base.

I trimmed a 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ strip of the Hocus Pocus pattern paper, added some color mist to it, fringed it a bit to look like grass, and added it with Dimensional Dots to the card.

I added a spooky tree, haunted house, bats, and “Trick or Treat” banner flag Die-Cut Shapes to the card.  I love the glitter glue in the windows of the house for a glowing effect.

I started by tracing the spider web Die-Cut Shape on the front of the card.  I used a craft knife to cut along the trace marks and used the cut hole as a template to cut the same shape on the Spiderwebs pattern paper.

I lined up the paper hole with the card hole, trimmed around the card, and adhered the background paper to the card.

I added Sticky Thumb Liquid Glue to the outer edge of the spider web…

…and adhered it to the card.  I also added machine stitching around the card.

After adding a few spiders and an “EEEEEEEK!” banner flag, I stamped “Happy Halloween!” on the inside of the card making sure to see it a bit through the spider webs.

Easy 3D Paper Pumpkins

Hello Pebbles fans! Amanda here today sharing just a little bit of my love for pumpkin decor. There are so many reasons I love to decorate my home with pumpkins in the fall. Not only are they widely available and inexpensive, but they are suitable for all of the Fall holidays. Pumpkins left over from Halloween can easily make their way through Thanksgiving.

Paper pumpkin home decor is no different from the fresh gourds you find at your local market. Pumpkin crafts done right can stick around all fall. These pumpkins are currently looking pretty on my side table, but will make a nice Thanksgiving centerpiece next month. BONUS: 3D paper pumpkins easily pack flat and can be used in the years to come. Just fluff them up and they’re ready to go.

A rustic just twine bow on the top of each pumpkin adds a bit of pretty contrast to the modern colors and prints in the DIY Home collection.

And how ’bout those paper straw stems? It doesn’t get any easier than that. Simply cut the straw and place it in the center of the pumpkin. So easy.

Each 3D pumpkin is made with several die cuts. If you are using digital die cuts, choose pumpkin shapes that are perfectly symmetrical otherwise the folded pieces won’t line up. I usually use about 12 die cuts per pumpkin as this makes them look full. TECH TIP: You can create symmetrical die cut by digitally cutting an asymmetrical pumpkin in half using die cutting software. Copy one half, flip the image and weld the two sides together.

After you have folded all of the pumpkin pieces, adhere the halves together creating a small stack. Apply adhesive to one side of the stack and adhere it to the other side to create the 3D pumpkin.

Happy Fall!

Simple Pumpkin Banner

Hello Friends! Amy from The Happy Scraps here today, and I’m so excited to show you how to make this Simple Pumpkin Banner. It really comes together quickly and is super easy to make.

Simple Pumpkin Banner made by @thehappyscraps with @pebblesinc Boo! collection.

I gathered my supplies. I decided to use the Boo! collection for this project.

Simple Pumpkin Banner made by @thehappyscraps with @pebblesinc Boo! collection.

After I cut the shapes out using my electronic die cutting machine, I paired up the pieces I’d cut out. I inked the edges with black ink.

I pulled out my Sticky Thumb raised sticky dots and applied some to the back of the middle piece.

Then I applied it to the front, creating the pumpkin look.

I love the way the raised sticky dots holds it up off of the paper, creating the dimension.

I grabbed my Crop-A-Dile (my favorite hole punch) and punch the holes in the top of the pumpkins, so I could hang it.

All that is left to do is string some baker’s twine through the holes.

This project was so easy, I was even able to take it and work on it in my car, while waiting to pick up my boys from school. 🙂

Now all that’s left to do is find a fun place to hang this Simple Pumpkin Banner.

I think the added dimension from the raised sticky dots is the perfect touch to these too, don’t you think?

Pair it up with some matching Marquee Boo! Letters, put them on a mantel or shelf, and you’re all but ready for Halloween!

Where would you hang this fun banner in your home?
