Cheerful Birdhouse

Hello Pebbles Inc. fans! Holly here today from Ribbons & Glue sharing a cheerful Birdhouse made with the Happy Day! collection and a Silhouette cut file.

I love to make 3D papercrafts. I  find it very therapeutic. Cutting layers, folding on the score lines, taping everything together then inking the edges. This 3D Birdhouse project was inspired from the “put a bird on it” sticker found in the Happy Day collection. I love how one random sticker can provide the inspiration to create a cheerful project like this.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the  Birdhouse cut file then assembled the pieces together with double sided sticky tape.

After the birdhouse was assembled, I embellished it with various Happy Day Stickers, epoxy dots and twine.

What inspire your creativity? All it took for me to create this cheerful Birdhouse was one little bird sticker and some pretty patterned paper from the Pebbles Inc. Happy Day collection.

Geometric Summer Fruit

Hello Pebbles Fans!  Amanda here today.  Most of the time I don’t eat as much whole fruit as I should, but during the summer that all changes.  There’s nothing quite as satisfying as diving face first into a slice of watermelon or stuffing my cheeks with fresh grapes.   Inspired by Pebbles’ bright patterned papers, I set out to make some cute, geometric summer fruit to display all summer long.

Geometric Summer Fruit by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc patterned paperI couldn’t resist turning back to my favorite Pebbles watermelon paper.  The only thing that makes me sad is that I can’t eat it.  The shape of these fruits may cause you to think abstractly.  I have never seen such an angular lemon, but it is charming.  Each of these fruits is made with patterned paper from a different Pebbles collection.

Geometric Summer Fruit by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc patterned paperAdd a rolled paper stem and a hand cut leaf to oranges, apples, or even little cherries.

Geometric Summer Fruit by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc patterned paperThis watermelon box looks yummy enough to eat.   Adhere a strip of green paper to the base of the box to create the rind.

Geometric Summer Fruit by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc patterned paperWhile these geometric fruit boxes would make lovely décor or a centerpiece, they can also be used as little treat boxes.  Fill the boxes with yummy treats before you adhere the last opening.

Geometric Summer Fruit by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc patterned paperAll of these boxes were made using a triangle score guide.  Simple insert the triangle score guide into any score board and you can score perfect triangles from which all of these different shaped boxes are created.

Geometric Summer Fruit by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc patterned paperAfter the triangle score lines are created, follow the instructions in the manual to cut out the shapes for each box.  I quickly drew the cut lines on the inside of the paper I was using.  No need to draw pretty lines–you’ll make them nice and straight when you cut out your shape.

Geometric Summer Fruit by @amanda_coleman1 using @pebblesinc patterned paperUse a white pen or chalk pencil to trace the cut lines on a dark piece of paper.

#summer layout

Hello, Renee here today sharing another summer layout this time using the Jen Hadfield Cottage Living and Home+Made collections.  With school starting in just a few days now (crazy!), I wanted to collect a few highlights from our #summer break together and create a page.  The girls enjoyed playing at Six Flags Great America, splashing at our local waterparks, and LOVED horseback riding with my family in Indiana on the 4th of July.

#summer layout by @reneezwirek using the #JHCottageLiving and #JHHomeMade collections by @PebblesInc. and @Tatertots and Jello .com

I started this summer layout by trimming off ¾” from two sides of the ledger pattern paper.  I adhered it onto the Floral Tapestry pattern paper and added some machine stitching around the page.  I think it’s safe to say that Floral Tapestry is my favorite pattern paper from this collection.  Ha!

I used the Golden Color Mist and sprinkled a bit more gold where I wanted it as I created the page.

Since there were a lot of different colors in these photos, I decided to print them off as 3″ x 3″ black and white pics.  Simply paired pattern papers using the 6″ x 6″ Paper Pad.  I love that the work is already done for me with the front and backs of the 12″ x 12″ sheets in the collection.

Loving the layers of pretty pattern papers!

I printed off my journaling on vellum and added it to my page.  I used the AR CENA font for the journaling on my page.

I machine stitched the vellum over a couple of Gold Dipped Tags, fussy cut flowers, and layered pattern papers.  Love the golden splatters!

Love the large alpha stickers for my title!  I added some circle foam dots to the large letters to give my title dimension.  More fussy cut flowers, golden splatters, and a fun Jumbo Gold Paperclip at this corner of the page.
