Hi, it’s Becki, here to share with you a quick and easy Spring gift. I created this seed packet gift envelope in about 15 minutes. It was SO easy and doesn’t require a ton of supplies. The Homegrown collection is perfect for Spring projects.
I love Spring and, even though I’m a terrible gardener, I do love to have a small herb garden in my kitchen window. I thought it would be fun to share an herb garden with a friend.
I started by cutting a 5×12 inch piece of patterned paper.
Then, I traced the opening of the photo frame.
After that, I carefully cut it out with a craft knife by cutting along the outside of the pencil lines.
Then I scored and folded the piece of patterned paper at the 5 inch mark.
After that, I adhered the frame to the envelope.
Then I cut a portion of clear packaging from a package of stickers to fit on the inside of the envelope
I adhered the clear piece of packaging to the inside of the envelope.
I then embellished the outside of the envelope and machine stitched the sides closed.
I then added a few packets of seeds. That’s it!
I’ll stick this little envelope in a terracotta pot and my gift will be ready to go. I can’t wait to share this with a dear friend!
