Happy New Year, Everyone!

It’s Renee. Well, another year went by incredibly fast.  Looking back on the year 2014, overall I feel happy.  Lots happened last year.  I wanted to create a layout with the highlights from each month.  There was no way I could fit 16 photos onto just one page.  So, I used the Happy Day collection for a double-page layout!  I also used one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite movies!

Here’s what I created…

Here’s the left side page of the double-page layout.  All the photos were printed as 2.5″ x 2.5″ squares and arranged from January to December, top to bottom.  I love the combination of the Woodland and Blooms thickers for my quote title.

Here’s the right side page of the double-page layout.

Now for some close-up photos.  Here, I trimmed a Tag Frame, added a Phrase Sticker, and a Metal Clip.

Again, I trimmed a Tag Frame, added a Phrase Sticker, a clock Icon Sticker, and fussy cut flowers sprinkled all around the page.  I love the Garden Walk paper…flowers are my favorite! I also stamped the year at the bottom corner of the Tag Frame.

Yes, there are 4 hidden photos on this double-page layout.  There were a few months that had more highlights.

More Icons and Phrases & Labels Stickers added along with fussy cut flowers and Enamel Dots sprinkled around the double-page layout.

I love the colors of the Enamel Dots! A few were hidden with these photos. The months of July and August had another highlight that I wanted to add to the double-page layout. The flip-up squares measure 3″ x 6″ and have tiny Velcro squares to hold them down (easy to open up).

The months of June and December also had another highlight that I wanted to add to the double-page layout.  Fun, interactive, and great memories to look back on and smile!
