Hello everyone! This is Eva Pizarro and today I’m going to show you how to do a mini album with the Home for Christmas collection to record your holiday memories.

For me December is a very busy month: dinners, shopping, baking, decorating, etc.. it is all fun but it can also take you a lot of time! That’s why for the past years I have been doing a 12 Days of Christmas mini album, it is smaller and I can include practically all the important events of the month. I also do it in advance so that I can journal directly on the album and all I have to do at the end of the month is print the pictures.

To do this mini, you will need to cut 13 papers to 5.5 x 7 3/4 inch from the Home for Christmas collection.

Use your Cinch to make holes and bind the album. You can also use some of the printed bags from this collection for added dimension and fun.

Do the covers slightly larger following the tutorial you can find here.

With your WRMK Envelope Punch Board, make some 3×4 envelopes in mixed colors.

You can also include some pockets made from vellum. I stamped mine with white embossing powder  and filled them with sequins and confetti hearts. I closed my pockets with washi tape (you can sew around them also). One trick to avoid the sequins sticking to the insides of the pockets is to pass a brush with some baby powder in the inside of your pocket right before closing the last side.

Use your Cinch to bind everything together. You can use some of the beautiful metal rings, or if you want an alternative look, you can use twine like I did.

Now all you have to do is embellish your mini album pages. Mine are very simple, and in each one I used a journal spot cut from one of the papers in the Home for Christmas collection.

The pictures are all going to go on the right side of the pages. I planned to do a square collage of everyday, that way I can include as many pictures as possible. Here’s an example (I printed some pictures from last year just to show you). I had 5 pictures so I did a 9 spot collage and just filled the blank spots with a sticker or a piece of patterned paper.

I hope you liked it and that this year you can record all of the memories of this fantastic holiday!
