Sweater Weather Layout

Hello, everyone! It’s Becki here to share a layout I created with the Home+Made collection. It’s no secret, Fall is my favorite season. I love love LOVE sweater season! This year when I took my kids school shopping I treated myself to a new cardigan sweater and some new books.

SweaterWeather-01

Let me walk you through this cute layout so you can recreate it and make your own sweater weather layout!

Sweater Weather Layout by @beckiadams for @pebblesincI decided to make journaling cards from the 3×4 cards for a “book review” of sorts. I thought it would be fun for me to write down a few thoughts after I finished reading the books I bought.

Sweater Weather Layout by @beckiadams for @pebblesinc

I added a bit of washi tape to create a tab on each of the cards.

Sweater Weather Layout by @beckiadams for @pebblesincOn the backside of the cards I wrote the title of each of the books. I slipped them into the  paper bag. I’ll write my review of the books when I’m finished reading them.

I couldn’t finish this layout without a little bit of sparkle…okay, a lot of sparkle. The scalloped gold tape finds its way onto most of my projects these days, I can’t resist it.

Cozy Fall Cards

Fall is in the air! Amanda here today with a trio of cozy fall cards. One of my favorite parts of fall is rediscovering my collection of soft, bulky sweaters. I admire them all year long as I wait for the air to feel crisp.

SweaterWeather-01

Using sweaters as my inspiration, I created cards with rich earth tones and soft textures.

Cozy Fall Cards by @popperandmimi using @PebblesInc Home+Made collectionThe gray and white striped background on this card is just like my waffle knit cardigan that I wear around the house on chilly mornings.  I paired the stripes with glittery gold polka dots on kraft and some pretty, feminine flowers.

Cozy Fall Cards by @popperandmimi using @PebblesInc Home+Made collectionI anchored a bundle of natural jute twine to the face of the card with a cluster of flowers.  The flowers are fussy cut from the same sheet of 12″x12″ paper.

Cozy Fall Cards by @popperandmimi using @PebblesInc Home+Made collectionThe zigzag pattern on the blue patterned paper reminded me of the lines that are formed on a knit sweater.  The polka dot burlap leaves and glittery gold circle add texture and richness to this cozy fall card.

Cozy Fall Cards by @popperandmimi using @PebblesInc Home+Made collectionI die cut several paper flowers and layered them together to create the large flower.  I added extra dimension to the flower by curling the petals in different directions.

Cozy Fall Cards by @popperandmimi using @PebblesInc Home+Made collectionThe dark gray houndstooth background on this card gives it a decidedly masculine feel.  I attached the journaling card sentiment to the card with a couple of contrasting stitches.

Cozy Fall Cards by @popperandmimi using @PebblesInc Home+Made collectionAdding stitches is a fun and easy way to add detail to a card.  Place your card over a piercing mat and punch holes with a paper piercer in a square pattern.

Happy fall!
Amanda

Colorful Fall Leaf Card Set

Hi Pebbles friends! It’s Wendy Sue Anderson here today, sharing a project inspired by my favorite season: Autumn!

Fall-02

I just love watching the leaves change colors on the mountains surrounding the little valley I live in. Fall is definitely in the air, so it felt so natural to create a set of cards inspired by the colorful leaves!

Colorful Fall cards made by @wendysuea using the #homemade collection by @jenhadfield from @pebblesinc.I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut two large leaves from the woodgrain patterned paper in the Home+Made collection by Jen Hadfield.

Colorful Fall cards made by @wendysuea using the #homemade collection by @jenhadfield from @pebblesinc.I wanted to use the negative space from the die cuts, and placed strips of colorful patterned papers (from the same collection) behind the opening so the colors peek through the leaf shape.

I added some machine stitching around the edges along with stickers and a glitter tape border to complete my cards.

Now…not being one to waste a perfectly good leaf, I decided to create an additional card.

I grabbed the die-cut leaves and leftover 1″ patterned paper strips:

Next, I used foam adhesive to attach the die-cut leaves.  I wanted them to look natural, so I layered one on top of the other and slightly folded the edges up.

To embellish the leaves, I added sticker banners to the stems.

Collage Fall layout

Hello everyone! I’m Eva Pizarro and today I wanted to show you how to make a cute background for your pages using paper scraps. I always have too many and even though I try to use them all up, they seem to multiply themselves!

Fall-02

Start by cutting the shape you want from your cardstock. I printed an image and then used my scissors to cut the design, but with a die cut machine you can do this much faster.

Step by Step Layout by @evapizarrov using the #JHHomeMade collection by @pebblesinc

Glue strips of paper to a cardstock sheet,  use different colors, widths and lengths.

Step by Step Layout by @evapizarrov using the #JHHomeMade collection by @pebblesinc

Using your sewing machine, sew the paper to the page. It’s best if you don’t follow a pattern and just combine straight lines and curves.

Step by Step Layout by @evapizarrov using the #JHHomeMade collection by @pebblesinc

Cover the design you just stitched with the page that has the cut out design and stitch all around the borders.

Step by Step Layout by @evapizarrov using the #JHHomeMade collection by @pebblesinc

And that’s it! This is my layout! The background was busy enough so I kept everything else simple. Just a few embellishments here and there and those BIG and pretty alphas!

My Darling Dears Layout

Hello! It’s Renee Zwirek here to share a step-by-step tutorial of how I put this fall layout together.  It’s not the typical colors and patterns that I would use when I think of fall and that’s the whole reason why I embraced Jen Hadfield’s Home+Made collection for this project.  It’s such a pretty and versatile collection.

Fall-02

I started by penciling in a vertical line on my background paper.  Then, I added heat embossed leaves along that line.

I added various strips of pattern papers next to my leaves using some Double-Sided Sticky Red Tape.

I added three favorite fall photos of my girls (which measures slightly less than 4 x 6 inches because I trimmed off the borders) with a bit of Adhesive Runner.

I used the beautiful Gilded Gold Thickers for my title.  I heat embossed the “Darling” word clear stamp onto vellum and cut it out to add a pumpkin color and some fun to my title.

I embellished around my photos and added my journaling to finish off my layout.

Here are some close-up shots:  I had enough room on this photo to add a gold glittered flag sticker and a leaf cut from the Burlap with White Dot specialty paper in this collection.

I just LOVE fussy-cutting the hexagons from the Homemaker pattern paper and adding more stickers.

And, more hexagons scattered around my photos.  I added my journaling to the gold glittered sticker tag and stitched a burlap leaf and a heat embossed vellum leaf to it.
