Hello Pebbles Friends! It’s Wendy Sue Anderson here today sharing a fun teacher gift using the Back to School collection.
It doesn’t take a lot of time to make a set of personalized note cards for your child’s teacher, and it makes a great little back-to-school gift!
I used the “back to school” collection to make a set of mini cards. To begin, I cut several 3″ squares of patterned paper. Next, I cut several strips of patterned paper, approximately 1 1/4″ x 3″ and placed them near the bottom of each paper square.
I removed several circle shaped stickers from the sticker sheets. I punched circles from cardstock to mount each sticker (because I wanted to remove the sticky backs). And I added a foam adhesive square to the back of each round sticker.
I printed the text directly on to white cardstock, “A note from Mrs. Sessions” and cut each one into a small banner with notches in the end. I placed the personalized banner and the round stickers on each patterned paper square.
Finally, I cut several 3 1/4″ square card bases from American Crafts “Weave” cardstock and adhered the patterned squares onto each one.
To complete the gift, I embellished the front of a 3 1/2″ square acetate box with patterned paper and stickers, plus a little personalized banner so she’ll know who the gift is from. We are excited to share this fun little gift with Seth’s teacher when we head back to school, and I’m sure she’ll appreciate the cute little notes she can send home with special students on occasion.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today – I hope this project gave you some fun ideas, not only for teachers, but friends, relatives, and more!
