Have you ever made a beautiful homemade card for a friend living states away only to discover that when you went to mail it, it was a little too bulky for the envelope and the postage would cost an arm and a leg? Well, Laurel Seabrook understands that all too well and has found the perfect solution.
Hi everyone, Laurel here with you today. I don’t know about you but the cost of mailing a handmade card almost (well not really, hehehe) has me not wanting to send any. So today I decided to create a simple, less bulky ‘mailable’ card. I send out a lot of thank you cards so I need to build up my stash of simple ones.
For this card I used the Front Porch collection. Super simple paper layering and adding one of the library cards made this a very quick and easy card that is still quite pretty.
Supplies:
Front Porch Cardstock Stickers
Front Porch Library Pockets with Cards
Front Porch – Porch Swing
Front Porch 6×6 Paper Pad
gorgeous card Laurel! Love it!
aww Laurel this is adorable..love how you made that cute little pocket..
Thanks for sharing a great card that can easily be mailed. I really like the pocket idea. You’ve pulled together some great patterns. Well done!
