It’s the darndest thing, but people just keep having birthdays year after year. And so often, the cards in the grocery store aisles just don’t cut it. So why not make some personalized birthday cards that you can have ready any time one of those birthdays sneaks up on you?

Hey everyone! Candace from Scrappin’ 2 Little Princesses here today! If you are like me, you can never have too many birthday cards on hand. There is always a birthday party popping up unexpectedly so I love to be able to make quick easy cards to keep in my stash. The Birthday Wishes Collection is amazing for birthday projects. The color pallet and great elements can either be used to create masculine, feminine or unisex projects which makes the collection so versatile!

I made a set of three cards that took me a total of about an hour. These cards came together SO easily and they look great!

I used very few materials to create these cards and I definitely could have easily created many more simple cards. I used the Birthday Wishes cardmaking pad for my card bases and cardstock die cut shapes as well as cardstock stickers to embellish.

Small details were added to my cards using some border dies (My Creative Time). I also added a few small jewels to the centers of the stars for a little sparkle.

By adhering my stickers and die cuts using foam stickers I was able to create dimension on my simple cards.
