With Father’s Day right around the corner, we’re having a lot of fun pulling together last-minute cards and gifts for Dad. Today, Designer Suzanna Lee is sharing a couple of fun handmade Father’s Day cards that she’s made for the men in her life…
Hi there! Suzanna here from Life’s Trivialities to share with you a Father’s Day gift bag and card. Have you seen Pebbles’ newest collection, Birthday Wishes? It’s bright, colorful and celebratory! And it’s just perfect for celebrating all those fantastic father’s out there too! Nothing says I love you better than homemade and here’s how you can quickly turn those birthday goodies into something for Dad!
I know, I know, I know; there ought to be an apostrophe between the ‘r’ and ‘s’ in Father’s! But when your gadget doesn’t have an apostrophe, one must risk the grammar police and their criticisms. If it makes you feel better, on my first run of this project, I did leave a space for the apostrophe but the sticker looked worse than not having it at all. And, our Daddy won’t mind!
I turned a fun “Happy Day” journal card into a great addition to my Father’s Day gift bag by using my Dynamo to create the “Father’s” banner to insert between the two words found on the card. Simple right?!
The rosette as it comes from the packaging needs to be changed up a tad to remove the birthday paper between the folded rosette and the button. It’s as easy as removing and inserting a punched piece of white cardstock. Jazz up the button a tad and add some pennants from your scraps.
Thanks for stopping into the blog today!
