Spring is one of our favorite seasons to decorate for. The bright colors are so refreshing. Designer Wendy Antenucciis here today, with a fun spring wreath that you’re definitely going to want to make for your front door!
When I saw the package of butterflies I knew I had to put together a spring wreath to display these gorgeous creations!
I began by assembling groups of flowers; the This and That foam dots were perfect for this as they easily fit on the flowers without being seen. I then placed these main clusters on my wreath forming the base of my creation. My next step was to add the butterflies and the spring tag which were my main pieces of my wreath. I then began adding in flowers scattered throughout the wreath – gradually building up my wreath.
I added in some of the cute ladybugs and bees using more foam dots for additional dimension. If you look closely you can see that I used some glitter on the ladybug to add some bling with the Zing glitter glue.
I chose to add in a few stickers, some right on the flowers and others using foam dots for the perfect finishing touches. Anything is fair game in my mind when I am creating a wreath, of course this wreath won’t be going outside, but it looks great hanging inside on my wall!
