Halloween party season is upon us! Whether you are hosting a party of your own or will simply be a party guest, Design Team member Amanda Coleman has a fun and easy gift bag idea that is sure charm party guests.
Send your Halloween party guests home with a little gift or treat in a custom made gift bag. Not hosting a party? Give your hostess a spooky gift in one of these little bags.
Making a flat gift bag stand up like a lunch sack is really easy. Here’s how I did it:
1. Start with a flat gift bag.
2. Create creases in the bag by folding in the sides and bottom of the bag about 1″.
3. Using the creases you just made, stick your hand inside the bag and fold the bag into a 3D rectangle. Fold in the corners at the bottom and adhere with tape.
4. Stand the bag up and fill with goodies!
Top your bag with a simple banner by trimming flags from patterned paper and attaching them with miniature clothespins.
The toe tags are my favorite. They are a little bit creepy and a lot of fun. Simply attach toe tags to the top of your bag with a colorful clothespin.
The Thirty-One triangle banner kit is perfect for topping gift bags. Add a cute sticker or two and your bag is ready to go!
