Today’s creative card design is shared by Design Team Member Kim Jeffress. It’s a great inspiration piece and we can’t think of a better way to use this beautiful collection.

From Me to You Handmade Friendship Card

I wanted to create a meaningful card to give to my best friend ‘just because’. I chose to use the new ‘Front Porch’ collection, because I love the color and pattern combinations.

I used my machine to add some stitching along one edge of pattern paper.

Thankful Banner

We’ve just come through one of the hottest summers in history here in Utah and I think we’re all feeling pretty thankful for the cooler weather! Of course, the cooler weather also makes this week’s fall theme a little more timely!

Today Design Team Member Holly Gagnon is sharing a really fun thankful banner. This would be the perfect addition to any home for fall and the frame behind it? Love…

Thankful Banner

When I first saw the From Me to You and Front Porch Photo Frames Tags, I instantly knew I wanted to use them to display some of my favorite Instagram Photos.  Since Fall is upon us, I thought this would be a perfect way to show off what I’m Thankful for.

I love working with various design medias, especially wood. For this Fall project, I made a wood chicken wire frame and banner to display what I am Thankful for.  I added photos inside the Photo Frame Tags then clipped them onto the chicken wire using From Me to You clothespins.

The Thankful banner is cut from a Pebbles in My Pocket cut file and various patterned papers from the Pebbles Basics and the From Me to You collections.

To give the banner some dimension, the letters were ran through a burlap embossing folder. Texture embossing is a simple and quick way to add dimension to your projects.

Thankful note cards  cut from the Notes cardstock in the From Me to You collection were clipped onto the chicken wire too.

To give the frame some Fall flair,  clusters of Fall leaves and a few pine cones were added to the frame.

Chipboard accents, stickers and Pebbles candy dots were added to complete the Fall frame and Thankful banner.

Apple Thank You Gift

Doesn’t it seem like baked goods multiple in the fall? Especially made with apples, pears and pumpkins? The harvest is a great time to celebrate and share the harvest bounty

Today we’re celebrating fall with a fun apple themed thank you gift from Design Team Member Candace Zentner.

Apple Thank You Gift

I was so inspired by the Fall-like feel of the apples and the plaid pattern paper in the Front Porch Collection. I decided to make a little gift with a matching card to give to my daughter’s Kindergarten teacher.

I used some raffia to add some texture to my basket. Since I really wanted to make sure my basket of apples stood out on my card, I added my chipboard sticker onto a plain white layer of cardstock (with foam tabs for dimension).

To dress up a plain jar from the Dollarstore, I took a strip of pattern paper and used one of my Knock Out border punches to get a scalloped edge. Then I used another strip of cardstock and made my own rosette, topped off with a scalloped circle and a basket of apples sticker. I also added some glossy accents to my apples to give them a shiny look.

Front Porch Barefoot Patterned Paper (732321)

From Me to You Disneyland Photo Pocket Pages

Today we’re sharing some completely and totally awesome photo pocket page scrapbooking designs from Design Team Member Renee Zwirek.

This week, in keeping with our From Me to You theme, Renee is showcasing how she incorporated the line into Disneyland photo pocket pages.

Her pages show not only the versatility of the line, but she’s done a great job showcasing how fun it can be to use an unrelated collection with a very branded/themed storyline…

Following Renee’s awesome pages, you will find our weekly link-up. We can’t wait to see what you’ve been working on!

Disneyland Photo Pocket Pages

Even though I’m usually not a photo pocket page style scrapper, I have decided to do my family trip to Disney World in a Project Life style.

I decided to use this style so I can include an enormous amount of our photos and memorabilia in whatever way that I want.

I used the From Me to You collection here, because I thought the colors and sentiments worked so well with the photos from our meeting with Alice from Alice in Wonderland.  It’s just so bright and cheerful!

Besides pattern papers, I think one of my favorite products has to be the stickers. I love using these stickers and if you are a fan of Alice in Wonderland you know that flowers are just the perfect thing.

The Rub-Ons in this collection are fantastic. Not only are they so sweet, but are also very easy to work with. I usually have a hard time with rub-ons, because I have to really work at rubbing the image or sentiment onto the surface. Not these though. A couple of swipes and the rub-ons come out perfectly.

I really loved combining the “hi” heart rub-on with a heart sticker.

The Roller Stamp is another favorite from this collection. I’m especially excited for this type of stamp, because I can use it to say as little or as much as I want. The “Simply Lovely” phrase I added here is just the best. And later, I can even add fun Disney phrases throughout my album. “Oh, Boy!”

I knew I added the amount of photos that I wanted to in this Project Life spread, but I still wanted to use a Picture Frame Hang Tag. Instead of adding a photo to it, I added a pretty Photo Overlay. It added some dimension and a nice combination of colors to make it pop.
