Last week we provided shared a fun teacher gift and back-to-school giveaway. We had lots of questions about the fun paper used and decided it was time to share a full sneak peek of the great new Pebbles School collection that’s shipping to stores now!

The School Collection is full of bright basics in primary colors and darker tones set to provide balance.

There are six double-sided papers in this collection…

And a handful of fun stickers…

There are so many fun applications for this cute line. Wouldn’t they be great for a school party? I can’t wait to share them with my kid’s teachers.
Come back tomorrow and Wednesday for a couple fun creative projects made with this line!

We’ve had loads of fun following your back-to-school adventures on Instagram the last few weeks. We’ve seen shopping, lots of teacher hello gifts and some first day of school photos. We love that you’re documenting life!

The kids in Utah (where we’re based) start school in the next two weeks and we’ve got back-to-school on the brain too. We thought it would be fun to share some of our back-to-school ideas over the next few days.

Back-to-School Teacher Hello Gift

Some of our favorite posts have been the amazing teacher hello and product supply gifts we’ve seen popping up in our feed. We put our own spin on this project and created a fun pencil jar for teacher…

It’s will make a cute addition to teacher’s desk and is functional as well! Do you kick off the year with a gift for your child’s teacher? We’d love to see what you’ve created.

In the meantime, pop over to our back-to-school inspiration board on Pinterest.

We know that EVERY teacher could use a little extra help with supplies this time of year. We’d like to invite you to enter to win a box filled with $200 in basic supplies (think scissors, adhesive, cardstock, glitter) for your child’s teacher.

Using Themed Collections in a Unique Way

Whether you have a full-time job at a scrapbooking company, you participate on a design team or you’re scrapbooking at home, your *job* is to be creative, right?

Well, I have a bit of a confession to make. When it comes to themed collections sometimes I have a hard time thinking outside of the box.
Take this summer’s Lakeside Collection for example…

At first glance, I wasn’t sure how much use I would have for the line. After all, I am much more of a fluffy- comforter-with-room-service type than a camper and I just couldn’t think of a use for a piece like this…
Now don’t get me wrong, it’s a great card, but I don’t live in upstate New York and we’re not heading to relax at the lake. I don’t even know who I’d send a card like this too.
Fortunately, our in-house designers have taught me to think a little outside the box by creating cards like this…
Or this…
Or the pièce de résistance, this little beauty…

No camping at all.
This summer I have used the wood grain paper in my photo shoots, the constellation paper in my Project Life album and the blue polka dot in my Fourth of July crafts. It’s been liberating to say the least…
How do you think “outside the box” and utilize themed collections over and over as basics?
All cards designed by Pebbles, Inc. in-house designers.

Summer with Super Dad {Layout}

It’s not unusual to hear other ladies talk about how summertime is “Mom-time.” The kids are home, Dad’s at work…

Life is a bit more even for my boys and I think the best memories of summer are with their Dad. Whether it’s the park, the pool or a hike it’s always a good time and these memories are best kept special with a layout like this one by Pebbles design team member Emily Spahn.

Here’s what Super Dad really looks like…

“This Party with Amy Locurto line is really supposed to focus on Super Kids, but I knew that it would also be perfect to scrap a layout of my husband, who I affectionately refer to as “Super Dad!”  These photos from last summer totally crack me up. Both our kids were so crabby and refused to leave the playground. My son is missing his pants and eating a giant oaf of bread. They entire scene was hysterical, and my husband did a great job handling both of them!” — Emily Spahn

We’re terribly excited about the lines released a few weeks ago. Many of us are just getting our first crack at actually using some of the elements in the collection. Today we’re inviting you to explore the From Me to You collection – a great basic every day line.

The great thing about basic collections is the versatility of use. We’re loving this fun “explore” 12×12 layout created by some of the company’s in-house designers…

Supply list:
American Crafts cardstock 71720
From Me to You Letters patterned paper 732343
From Me to You Thanks patterned paper 732256
From Me to You Mail patterned paper 732258
From Me to You Message patterned paper 732260
From Me to You chipboard Thickers 732269
From Me to You double-sided icon stickers 732271
From Me to You double-sided label stickers 732272
Pebbles extra large date stamp 732278
Pebbles photo overlays 732280

We’ve had a lot of fun using the new extra large date stamp that was showcased at the most recent Craft and Hobby Association trade show.

You can see the effect on layout’s date flag in the lower left portion of the page.

This fun item has drummed up a lot of interest with traditional scrapbookers, along with every day memory keepers and we’re worried it won’t be in stock long…What do you think? A must have for your collection, or will you pass?
