Back-to-School Teacher Gift

Summer is coming to an end and the first day of school is right around the corner. Here in Utah, we’re busy with back-to-school shopping.

Back when I was in grade school, we shopped for crayons, paper, pencils, scissors and even the occasional apple for teacher. Today’s kids have moved on to more sophisticated shopping lists, but there’s always room for a special back-to-school “hello” gift for their teacher.

We love this fun “Apple Pie” framed artwork created by Vivian Masket, Pebbles design team member.

“This teacher gift features one of my favorite new techniques: taking the current pie chart trend and giving it a new twist by piecing together a pie chart and then die cutting it into a shape.

Here, eight different patterned papers from 6” X 6” Paper Pads (Lakeside, Seen & Noted, and Family Ties) combine to form an apple.

A leaf cut from one of the same patterned papers and a stem cut from the woodgrain Lakeside pattern complete the apple.

The apple rests atop the Charles dictionary-print Walnut Grove paper and sentiments are added with a Lakeside chalkboard sticker and the “You Are Awesome” print from Love You More.

The versatility of Pebbles’ products is showcased here, as products from four decidedly non-school-themed product lines combine to form a decidedly school-themed project.”

Supplies:
Walnut Grove Charles Dictionary Cardstock 51296
Lakeside Chalkboard Sticker 732251
Love You More Boy Cardstock 751424

Family Ties 6×6 Paper Pad 751473

How are your shopping plans coming along? Do you create a “hello” gift for your children’s teachers?
