“I thought the shabby wooden paper from the Lakeside was a perfect background paper for this photo of my family. The Phrase card and flowers from Seen & Noted were the perfect accent pieces.”  – Laurel Seabrook, Pebbles Design Team Member

“Color coordination across Pebbles lines makes it easy to mix products yet still achieve a clean and simple look. This layout combines clean and graphic patterned paper and embellishments from the Love You More and Basics lines with a more whimsical floral pattern from the Lakeside line. Pink, orange, and yellow provide the continuity in my design. I used both my die cutting machine and a circle punch to create circular elements that cross the boundaries between the horizontal paper blocks, making “homes” for my photo and an embellishment and grounding the paper blocks.”  – Vivian Masket, Pebbles Design Team Member

Sketchy Thursday

For today’s edition of “Sketchy Thursday” we asked some of our design team members to create a project based on this exclusive sketch by Becky Fleck.

” I loved using this sketch!  I’ve used my die cut machine to create an open circle background in the past. It is one of my favorite techniques!  I actually only looked at this sketch once before I started creating, and I was surprised to see at the end how similar my final layout actually is to the original. Many of the elements I added on my own, not even realizing there were similar elements on the sketch!  The Lakeside line is so perfect for all those fun summer photos like these ones from our local Farm Fest!” – Emily Spahn, Pebbles Design Team Member

different angles.  I mixed up a couple different collections for a fun and happy color scheme.
The black sticker and mist gives a nice contrast with the bright colors as well.” – Shawna Webster, Pebbles Design Team Member

Good morning everyone!  Today we are featuring cards from some of our design team members using their favorite Pebbles products.

“Today I wanted to share a couple of cards I created recently using the new Lakeside collection. It’s so easy to create quick and easy cards because the papers and embellishments combine so effortlessly! Using the Journaling cards to accent them is so fun.”  – Kim Jeffress, Pebbles Design Team Member

“I have loved the Seen and Noted speech bubbles paper since it came out so I decided to make a speech bubble card set with that paper and a Silhouette cut.  The Seen and Noted papers actually paired very well with Lakeside collection.  I used foam adhesive on the sentiment piece of the speech bubbles to add a little dimension.” – Christa Paustenbaugh, Pebbles Design Team Member

Mix and Match Monday

It’s Monday again which means we’ll be mixing and matching some Pebbles products to show you just how well our collections can be used with one another.

“For today’s Mix and Match Monday I wanted to create a set of cards using a common foundation and color scheme. I chose Apricot, Aqua and Leaf colored bases from the Basics Cardmaking Pads and Phrase & Sentiment stickers and then added patterns from Walnut Grove and Lakeside. The base of each card is created from a piece of patterned paper matted on white cardstock then layered with a shipping tag and doily. Once the bases were completed I added elements such as chipboard and the die-cut pieces. I finished each card with a sentiment sticker in a contrasting but complementary color. The Basics collection is perfectly designed for cardmaking and made completing this trio of cards so quick and easy.”  – Donna Jannuzzi, Pebbles Design Team Member

“I decided to make a couple cards today, and mixed up Lakeside, and Family Ties, which go together seamlessly!  I sketched a design for my first card then made a mirror image of the design for the other card.  Quote Cards are one of my favourite products for making cards because they are just the perfect size to make a great focal point of a card.” – Laura Craigie, Pebbles Design Team Member
