“Eek! Tricks and Treats is a real treat for Halloween paper crafts! I love how Pebbles makes it so easy with the Rotten Rd. paper to make a bunch of Halloween cards in no time at all! I simply used a circle punch to make accents from the Witchy Ln. paper and added some stitching. It’s that easy!”  – Kathy Martin, Pebbles Design Team Member

“I wanted to make some card for my kids this Halloween, and the Tricks and Treats line was just perfect!  I love using the 6×6 Paper pads for cards since the patterns are so much smaller.  The adorable stickers helped the cards come together quite quickly.  Which is exactly how I like to work! :)”  – Laura Craigie, Pebbles Design Team Member

“It’s Halloween time so why not have a party. Take a peek at my altered party project using the Tricks and Treats collection.  I used a Starbucks milk jug and added some patterned paper with some stickers as embellishments. A candy tube embellished with a button & stickers. Last …. add a treat bag with fun stickers and a glittery spider. Perfect papers for a perfect spooky cute party!!!”  – Patricia Kumfer, Pebbles Design Team Member

“The Tricks and Treats collection is SO adorable! If you’re like me and you have young children, then this line is just perfect for your projects. It’s scary, but not too scary of a collection. For quite awhile now, I have been wanting to make a mini album of all the cute Halloween costumes my girls have worn throughout the years. This collection combined with the O’Fl!p Album made it a fast, easy, and fun way to get it done. I cannot wait to add two more pages to my album after this Halloween. Caitie will be Princess Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Payton will be Princess Merida from Disney-Pixar’s Brave. I finally get two princesses this year! Happy Halloween, Everyone!” – Renee Zwirek, Pebbles Design Team Member

Product Focus: Tricks and Treats

With Halloween just a week away it seems only appropriate to focus on our fun new Halloween line, Tricks and Treats.  Put on your cutest costume and start the trick-or-treat feast with Tricks and Treats. Adorable pumpkins, spiders, ghosts and other All Hallows’ Eve friends play in a warm palette of yellow, orange, green, black and purple. Time to celebrate frightful fun!

“The story of my daughter’s Halloween costume decision-making-process this year was very cute and I knew I wanted to tell that story on a layout. On the night she was making her decision, she was not in the mood to pose for a photo, but my husband caught a pretty cute one of her as she was bouncing around. Unfortunately, he took it with his cell phone, at a weird angle, and in poor lighting. She looks adorable regardless, so I decided to use the photo as a support to the story rather than as the main element. By using glitter foam Thickers, I was able to elevate the importance of key words in the story and then had fun embellishing with a variety of bits of patterned paper, stickers, and chipboard printed Thickers.”  – Vivian Masket, Pebbles Design Team Member

“I’m sending these pillow boxes to my nieces for Halloween; they live in Texas, and I don’t get to see them very often.  I wanted to send them something fun, a treat, but not candy.  When I came across these Halloween necklace kits at the craft store I knew they’d be perfect!  I used my Cameo to cut the pillow boxes and labels.  I then embellished each box very simply.  I made a tag for one and decorated it with a sticker.  I then added that adorable little spider to the box (the only kind of adorable spider is one made from paper!).  For the other box, I made a rosette and topped it with a sticker from the Phrase and Accent Sticker sheet.  Both boxes are tied with black twine.  I hope they enjoy their gifts and have as much fun with their Halloween treat boxes as I did making them!”  – Donna Jannuzzi, Pebbles Design Team Member

Guest Designer: Tamara Tripodi and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to introduce you to this week’s Guest Designer Tamara Tripodi!  Let’s get to know Tamara a little better …

Describe yourself in 3 words … silly, crafty, addictedtocoffee (LOL!)

My guilty pleasure is … lame reality TV shows – the more train-wreaky, the better.

You’ll never find me without
… CHAPSTICK – never. I literally made my husband carry my chapstick in his pocket into the OR during my c-section so I could have it right away afterwards, LOL.

You might be surprised to know that I … share a birthday with my half brother and half sister. February 16th. THEY were born the same year. Crazy stuff! Oh and I am deathly afraid of pool/spa drains and you will NEVER catch me swimming alone.

My least favorite chore is … scrubbing showers/toilets. My hubby will thankfully step up and do those for me!

I started scrapbooking in … well, I have only been paper crafting for two years this September. Just made my first layout a few months ago.

My favorite thing about this hobby is … all the PRETTIES!!! LOL! There’s so much out there and I think I ‘need it all’. I also just love being creative and doing what makes me happy.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be … Thickers! I am newly obsessed with them! And just think – if I love ya I could spell ‘LOVE’ and if ya tick me off.. well.. there’s lots of punctuation symbols in the alpha sets. LOL! Really though, they are so pretty and fun to use! Another thing I have started to ‘collect’.

“I just LOVE the Tricks and Treats collection and knew I wanted to make a card with it. I had several ideas running through my head … then I saw those round stickers and they totally inspired me to make little ‘lollipops’. Originally I was just going to tie a bow on them and then attach them to the card base, then I thought “How fun would it be to make a trick or treat bag?” Super fun, of course! I think it turned out quite cute and I can honestly say this is one of my most favorite cards I’ve made!”

“How fun are THESE? I have had these bottles sitting around for awhile and have actually started working on them 3 different times now. And none of them really ‘clicked’ for me. Then when I pulled out Tricks and Treats and realized I had perfectly matched gumballs I just HAD to make them! They pulled together nicely and make such a cute presentation for some yummy treats!”

“Since I am ‘big’ on die cutting, I wanted to be sure to include a die cut project in the mix of my guest designer stuff. I created this cute box from svgcuts.com. It’s only two cutting files and easily goes together! Such a cute and simple way to put a smile on someone’s face! I created an epoxy embellishment using my Epiphany Crafts tool. I added on some Trendy Twine and another SVG Cuts ‘bat’ cutting file.  Finished embellishing with wire, burlap ribbon, owl tag, and the words ‘Boo’ with some Thickers!“

“I love how this card came out! Walnut Grove is so beautiful and so easy to work with! I couldn’t make ALL Halloween projects (HUGE Halloweenie fan over here!) so I thought a nice card would be perfect to finish off my round of guest designer projects! I sewed on some ribbon to add a special touch to the card and keep it closed. I included some die cut clouds … because … well, they’re cute! I love butterflies, so the butterfly stickers had to be on my card somewhere! I took one of the ‘friend’ wood clothespins and broke it apart and turned it onto it’s side. I thought this was a little something different and fun.”
