Happy Friday everyone! We are wrapping up the week with a few “free for all” projects from some of our design team members.

Design team member Jill Cornell has already moved on to the next holiday on the calendar with these adorable gift bags.   Here’s what Jill had to say … “Now that Christmas is over, I’m already switching gears to Valentine’s Day. And in honor of the upcoming holiday, I created a trio of gift bags using the With Love collection to hold treats to send to a loved one. I added plenty of texture by creating with doilies, kraft gift tags, masking tape stickers, ribbon, punched hearts and twine.”

Design team member Mandie Pierce documents the travels of Buddy the Elf on this fantastic two page layout.  Here’s what Mandie had to say … “I am not normally a 2 page scrapbooker.  But, with 24 photos, I had didn’t have room on one page.  With that many photos, I wanted to keep the layout simple.  I was afraid adding too many embellishments would be distracting.  This layout is about all of the places our Elf on the Shelf “hid” this year.  It will be interesting to see how many spots are repeated next year!”

Design team member Aphra Bolyer created this precious card set.  Here’s what Aphra had to say … “I love the soft pinks, browns, and creams in the New Addition 2011 collection, which I think are perfect colors for creating cards for any occasion.  I sifted through all the sweet embellishments to find ones that were not baby specific.  And I found plenty.  My favorite accent are the pink spiral paper clips.  They’re just so cute and fit perfectly inside the flower stickers on my “Love You” card.”

Design team member Stephanie Baxter also created a set of cards perfect for reconnecting with old friends.  Here’s what Stephanie had to say … “Every New Year I’m always reminded of friends of mine with whom I might have lost touch with a bit over the past year and always try to make an effort to regain a bit of contact to check in with them and see how they’re doing. This year I thought it might be a nice idea to make some everyday cards specifically for the purpose, which I can send to friends to get in touch. I mixed various favourite products of mine from the With Love, Fresh Goods and New Arrival Girl lines to create these fun, feminine cards. I love including a bit of dimension on all my projects, so I made sure to use foam tabs to adhere one element to each card and make it pop.”

Hey everyone!  Today we are focusing on one of our newest additions to the Pebbles line of products … Adhesive Notes!  Pebbles Adhesive Notes are the perfect embellishment for all of your paper crafting projects.  They are great for adding notes and journaling just where you need it and add the perfect pop of color and whimsy.  Pebbles Adhesive Notes are available in two styles and coordinate with Fresh Goods and With Love collections.

Design team member Anna Sigga used the adhesive notes to add lots of fun details to this adorable layout about her daughter.  Here’s what Anna had to say … “My lil girl loves to talk on the phone and of course she prefers the real phone over her play phone. She is quite the little chatterbox! 😀
I love using those sticky notes to dress up a layout in quick and easy way. Here I punched one adhesive (light blue one) note with my punch to give a bit more “decorative” feel.”

Today design team member Eva Pizarro shows us how to take those adorable Pebbles brads and create some “off the page” projects.  Here’s what Eva had to say … “I love the different type of brads from all of the different collections. And there are so many fun things you can do with them! Today I wanted to show you how to create a simple pair of earings and some hair pins using some glue and your favorite Pebbles brads.”

To create the earrings just select your favorite brad (I used one from The Mr. & Mrs. collection) and remove the back with some tweezers.

Clean the back and use a string glue to attach a flat earring piece.

You can use the same technique to create some bobby pins!  WIth a wire cutter cut off the back of the brad.

And attach it to a bobby pin using a strong clear glue.

Super easy!  Now you just have to create a card and send them to someone special!

Design team member Pearl Liu created this gorgeous altered notebook for her daughter to keep with her on her days away from home using several different Pebbles collections.  Here’s what Pearl had to say … “My 16 year old girl is will be staying in her high school hostel this year as part of a year long residential program . So she will be gone 5 days a week and home only on weekends.  For sure kids grow up too fast.  I altered this notebook for her , knowing that she will be appreciative of having something on hand to remind her of home, something she can use to pen her thoughts.I have picked out colors, patterns and elements from our various lines that I know she will love especially and that’s what makes this project so fun yet meaningful at the same time.”
