First things first, I have a winner to announce from last week’s “With Love” giveaway. Thank you all so much for your comments. And the lucky winner is …

Congratulations! Please email your full name and mailing information (including your phone number for shipping purposes) to pebblesincdt(at)gmail(dot)com and put “With Love Winner” in the subject line.

Design team member Aphra Bolyer created the perfect packaging for holding a gift card or other small holiday gift.  Here’s what Aphra had to say … “Gift cards are a popular item on many of my family member’s Christmas lists this year.  Since buying a gift card is pretty simple, I like to take a little extra time to wrap it in a creative way.  Pebbles Welcome Christmas line was perfect for creating this pillow box for holding my brother’s gift card.  The colors are traditional and bold and the patterns are graphic and masculine.  LOVE the houndstooth!  I think my favorite touch, though, is the mini clothespin for the tag.  Too cute!”

Design team member Kim Kesti combines family traditions with her handmade gift this holiday season.  Here’s what Kim had to say … “I love blending my gift giving with family tradition. Every family has special holiday foods they look forward to, right? I thought it would be fun to decorate a recipe box and fill it with some of our favorite family recipes. Embellishing the box was a snap with the adorable Pebbles Welcome Christmas collection. The cards were fun and easy, too. I printed the recipes then added a strip of paper and some border stickers (I wanted the cards to remain flat). Lastly, I stamped the cute little flower in pale ink to add some texture. I think my new sister-in-law will get a kick out seeing what dishes are must haves at our family gatherings.”

Design team member Gretchen McElveen created a set of gift card holders perfect for adding that personal handmade touch.  Here’s what Gretchen had to say … “I am giving a few gift cards for Christmas this year. Design team member Eva Pizarro created this gorgeous gift ensemble complete with handmade paper flowers – beautiful!  Here’s what Eva had to say … “The With Love collection has beautiful papers and awesome embellishments! For this assignment I made a double treat box embellished with some paper clips and a cute journaling spot to write a message. For the closing I used some ribbon from the same collection and added a tag embellished with some hand made flowers. I also made a simple card with a heart shape and the gorgeous alpha from this line. Inside the box you can include hot chocolate mix and marshmallows, different types of candies or hand made cookies!”

Design team member Melinda Spinks created this stunning mini album with our With Love collection.  Here’s what Melinda had to say … “I’ve had this wooden mini album stashed away waiting for the right collection to come along and inspire me and I must say, when I first laid eyes on the With Love collection I instantly new that the mini would be dragged out. However, I didn’t have any idea what theme I would use it for and I’m quite surprised that I did a baby album celebrating the birth of my son, especially as the colours are reds and pinks. I’m really happy with the end result and I hope I can inspire you to try something a little different.”
