Guest Designer: Marcy Penner and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to introduce you to this week’s Guest Designer Marcy Penner.  Marcy was chosen as a guest designer after she posted to our Facebook Guest Designer search.  We loved her airy and light style and couldn’t wait to see what she created with Pebbles products.  Let’s get to know Marcy a little better …

My guilty pleasure is … the show Supernatural.

You’ll never find me without … my watch.

You might be surprised to know that I … still have a baby tooth.

My least favorite chore is … cleaning the bathrooms.  I have boys.  ‘Nuff said.

I started scrapbooking in . . . 2002.

My favorite thing about this hobby is . . . combining my love of paper and photography.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be . . . fabric brads – practical but fun!

Marcy created so many amazing projects for us today including this one about the sweet wildflowers her sons like to pick for her.  Here’s what Marcy had to say … “I really love that my little guys still pick flowers for me.  To mimic the theme I worked with some flower embellishments and purples and pinks.  (I don’t use those colors a lot when scrapbooking my boys!)  I created a little flower cluster and tied my photo with twine.”

Pebbles supplies used:
Ever After Fairy Tale paper (751104)
Ever After Enchanted (751108)
Happy Go Lucky Cheery (751080)
Happy Go Lucky Splendid (751081)
Happy Go Lucky Dandy (751089)
Happy Go Lucky Carefree (751083)
Happy Go Lucky Jewel Flower Brads (747075)
Happy Bo Lucky Buttons (747069)
Happy Go Lucky Paper Flowers (747070)
Happy Go Lucky Chipboard Flowers (747071)

Here’s what Marcy had to say about her next project … “Sometimes what happens is that I get going on my layouts and come really close to finishing and then realize that I forgot to include something I intended on from the beginning.  When I made this layout I wanted to use the little toothpick flags (which I love) … but I wasn’t sure where to use them!  In the end I trimmed them off their little wooden sticks and used them as banners along the top of my page instead.”

Pebbles supplies used:
Happy Go Lucky Splendid (751081)
Happy Go Lucky Chirpy (751085)
Happy Go Lucky Thrilled (751088)
Happy Go Lucky Cloud Nine (751090)
Happy Go Lucky Cheery (751080)
Happy Go Lucky Toothpick Flags (747067)
Happy Go Lucky Epoxy Brads (747078)
Floral Lane Memory Lane (751119)

And for her final project Marcy created this adorable Anniversary card.  Here’s what Marcy had to say … “My parent’s anniversary is coming up and I didn’t know if I wanted to make a card or a tag.  So I did both.  I created the tag and attached it to the card with the fabric brad.  As the day approaches maybe I’ll decide one way or another.  If I go with the tag I’ll simply remove it from the card.”

Pebbles supplies used:
Happy Go Lucky Splendid (751081)
Happy Go Lucky Fabric Brad (74077)
Floral Lane Dimensional Stickers (732056)

Thank you so much Marcy for creating so many amazing projects with Pebbles!  And now for a GIVEAWAY!  To enter simply leave a comment on this blog post telling us which of Marcy’s projects was your favorite.  One lucky winner will be chosen at random to win a prize pack full of Pebbles goodies.  Submit your comments by Monday at midnight (EST).  I’ll announce the winner Tuesday morning.  Good luck!
