First up, I (Lynn Ghahary) created a set of holiday tags using patterned papers from the Tree House collection.  The Tree House collection has the perfect color palette for the holidays.  I used my Cricut Expression and the Winter Frolic cartridge to create fun tag shapes and images.  These tags will be the perfect addition to my holiday gifts this Christmas.

Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House View (751027)
Tree House Melody (751030)
Tree House Adventure (751032)
Tree House Bliss (751033)
Tree House Trunk (751034)
Tree House Fun (751035)
Chocolate Brown ABC Stickers (732023)

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)
Jewels (Me & My Big Ideas)
Punches (EK Success)
Cricut Machine and Cartridges (Provo Craft)
Baker’s Twine

Design team member Wendy Sue Anderson also used the Tree House collection to create this fun and festive holiday card.  Here’s what Wendy Sue had to say … “To make the little Christmas tree on my card, I cut apart the strips from the Merriment paper and used the green, red, and brown patterns.  I cut various lengths and arranged them from smallest (on top) to longest (on bottom).  I didn’t take too much time making everything perfect – I kind of like that it’s a little wonky.  I added Candy Dots to act as ornaments … and what’s a Christmas Tree without a star on top (even a beautiful yellow flower)?  To create the sentiment, I placed the large stickers down, then added “to you” by using letters from the “thank you” sentiment sheet.  And of course, I had to use lots of foam dots to add dimension!”

Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House Merriment (751028)
Tree House Club (751026)
Tree House Trunk (751034)
Red Candy Dots (744228)
Tree House Paper Flowers (741002)
Chirpy ABC Stickers (732008)
Duplicate Rub Ons, Thank You – White (760206)
Earth Tones Chalk (742127)

Other supplies used:

Dimensional Adhesive (American Crafts)
Punch (Emagination)

Design team member Deena Wuest created this stunning Christmas tree using products from our New Arrival Boy collection.  Here’s what Deena had to say … “Who says Christmas trees have to be green? A recent trip to a department store opened my eyes to the world of colored Christmas trees. Of course, there were the standard green but then there stood blue trees, red trees, white trees, pink trees, even black trees! It was the perfect inspiration for this funky non-traditional Christmas card. I ran three patterned papers from the New Arrival Boy collection through my die cut machine to get these fun scallops then just layered them and trimmed them into a triangle. I topped it with a layered felt star and sprinkled on pearl candy dots for some sparkle. A few letter stickers artfully arranged becomes a fun typography trunk and completes this quick and easy card!”

Pebbles supplies used:
New Arrival Boy Special Delivery (751066)
New Arrival Boy He’s Here (751067)

This week on the Pebbles blog we are focusing on Holiday Cards.  There’s nothing better than giving (and receiving) a handmade card during the holidays.  I’ve asked some of our design team members to share with us some of their ideas for creating holiday cards made with Pebbles products.

Design team member Kristen Swain created this stunning card using scraps from some previous Pebbles projects.  Here’s what Kristen had to say … “One of my favorite things to do is to use my scraps from other projects, I find it’s so much easier to see unique combinations of colors and patterns when you are playing with the smaller pieces like scraps. I love that I can make several cards with my scraps, and my throw away is minimal, what a great way to save money and paper! I put these two red and green papers together and thought it was just a fun and pretty Christmas combo, making a card came easy once I was inspired to add a little kraft cardstock to the mix. Adding this large ribbon and bow really gives my card a lot of punch too!! I also used foam tabs on the chipboards, not just for the dimension they add, but now my card has more sticking power to stay well adhered.”

Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House Melody (751030)
Twitterpated Giddy (751005)

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)
Flower (Petaloo)
Ink (Ranger)
Mist (Tattered Angels)
Chipboard (K&Company)
Ribbon (May Arts)
Adhesives (American Crafts)

Design team member Samantha Sibbet created the perfect backdrop for her holiday photo using rub ons and brads from the New Arrival Boy collection.  Here’s what Samantha had to say … “I love making my Christmas cards each year and I always include a photo.  The pretty blue doily designs in the New Arrival Rub Ons reminded me of snowflakes and I thought they would look perfect on my Christmas card.”
