Design team member Kristen Swain created this precious layout in memory of her sweet dog.  Here’s what Kristen had to say … “Our dog just recently passed away due to an illness and scrapping these photos was a wonderful way to remember the nicknames we called her. The Cats & Dogs papers were perfect to accent these outdoor photos, the colors go so well with the grass, and even the setting sun colors reflecting off of Casey’s face.  This will be just one of the layouts I include in our memorial scrapbook of her for my family.”

Design team member Samantha Sibbet created this adorable card for her daughter.  Here’s what Samantha had to say … “It was hard for me to keep this paper away from my daughter, she thinks it is the most fabulous scrapbook paper ever (she likes the cats).  So this card is spoken for, I will save it for her upcoming birthday.  She will be thrilled since she has asked for it at least 5 times already.”

Design team member Savitri Wilder created this fun layout about her family’s dog.  Here’s what Savitri had to say … “What a fun colection! I LOVE the colors and the sticker alphabets. I wanted to keep the page simple, and just highlight the photo, but I still wanted to keep it fun because that’s just how our dog is. Fun! So this layout is just perfect for our sweet Shady Girl who was adopted a day before she was to be put to sleep due to over population of the animal shelter. Glad she’s with us being spoiled and enjoying a lovely life. She’s a lucky dog but we’re luckier to have her!”

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  This week on the blog is all about our furry friends as we share projects created with our Cats & Dogs collection that debuted at the CHA Summer 2010 show.  But before we get started I first wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who posted comments last week on our New Arrival Boy giveaway.  The lucky winner of the entire New Arrival Boy collection is …

Congratulations Jeanne!  Please email your full name and mailing information to pebblesincdt(at)gmail(dot)com and put “New Arrival Boy” in the subject line.  And now for a few “Cats & Dogs” projects!

First up, I (Lynn Ghahary) created this layout about the newest addition to our family – our sweet Puggle puppy Buddy!  This is definitely my favorite collection of our new releases – I love the fun color combination and with 2 cats and 1 dog this collection is definitely one I will be using over and over again.  My favorite product has to be the Ransom ABC stickers – they are so much fun to use!  Feel free to click the image for a larger view.

Design team member Mimi Leinbach celebrates her sweet four legged friend in this fun layout.  Here’s what Mimi had to say … “The Cats & Dogs collection totally screams fun to me. I decided to depart from my typical “straight style” with this line and have some fun. Things are just a little off center, a little crooked, the stitching is a little wavy. These colors are perfect for pets too. The photos of my girl, Lucy, matched perfectly. The embellishments are so much fun and I found myself wanting to use them all.”
