It’s Free For All Friday today and that means our designers had creative license to share whatever they wanted with us.
First up is design team member Sophia Allison who created lots of cards to share with us today. Here’s what Sophia had to say … “For my first card I fussy cut the patterned paper to make my flower accents and added foam squares behind to lift them, added some of the Tree House chips for dimension.”

Design team member Beth Root created this friendship themed layout. Here’s what Beth had to say … “I just adore the new Tree House Collection. The colors are so bright and fun and were perfect for the traditional year end photo of my son’s class. It’s funny, it can be tough to find a somewhat primary school colored scheme for a pre-teen boy. I thought the small flowers, along with little creatures gave it a whimsical school feel, yet not too young. I added each child’s 1st name on top of their photo. The thin lined American Crafts pen allowed me to write, but not overwrite the child’s face. I feel like it will be fun to look back at the photo and see the name with the classmates face. This was what I call a quick and easy blocked layout. I cut strips, layered the strips and then added the layered look of embellishments. Crinkling the edges adds texture, with minimal time. Great for a busy year end project.”
