Free For All Friday

It’s Free For All Friday today and that means our designers had creative license to share whatever they wanted with us.

First up is design team member Sophia Allison who created lots of cards to share with us today.  Here’s what Sophia had to say … “For my first card I fussy cut the patterned paper to make my flower accents and added foam squares behind to lift them, added some of the Tree House chips for dimension.”

Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House Laughter (751025)
Tree House Chips (744114)
What’s Up Duplicate Stickers (761005)

Sophia also created this little bag of mini cards as well using our new 3×3 cards as the starting point for her projects.  Here’s what Sophia had to say … “I used the 3×3 cards and added a bit more definition to them to give them more of a 3D feel.  I added them into a clear bag and tied it with a pretty chiffon ribbon as a little bag if mini cards to be given to someone as a gift.”

Pebbles supplies used:
May Bouquet 3×3 Cards (751012)
May Bouquet Paper Flowers (741001)
Tree House Chips (744114)
Tree House Borders Duplicate Rub Ons (750245)
Orange Glitter Candy Dots (744220)
White Glitter Candy Dots (744222)
White Ribbon (44028)
Orange Ribbon (44032)
Spring Green Ribbon (44034)

Design team member Beth Root created this friendship themed layout.  Here’s what Beth had to say …  “I just adore the new Tree House Collection. The colors are so bright and fun and were perfect for the traditional year end photo of my son’s class. It’s funny, it can be tough to find a somewhat primary school colored scheme for a pre-teen boy. I thought the small flowers, along with little creatures gave it a whimsical school feel, yet not too young. I added each child’s 1st name on top of their photo. The thin lined American Crafts pen allowed me to write, but not overwrite the child’s face. I feel like it will be fun to look back at the photo and see the name with the classmates face.  This was what I call a quick and easy blocked layout. I cut strips, layered the strips and then added the layered look of embellishments. Crinkling the edges adds texture, with minimal time. Great for a busy year end project.”

Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House Merriment (751028)
Tree House Adventure (751032)
Tree House Trunk (751034)
Tree House Laughter (751025)
Tree House Journaling Stickers (732011)
Chirpy ABC Stickers (732009)

Hey everyone!  Welcome to another edition of “Sketchy Thursday.”  Design team member Liz Qualman creates such beautiful sketches and the one our design team members used today is no exception.  Thank you Liz!

First up is design team member Akiko Kuroki who created this adorable spring themed layout using lots of goodies from our new Tree House collection.

Tree House Sunset (751029)
Tree House Melody (751030)

Peacock Glitter Candy Dots (744229)

Brown Glitter Candy Dots (744227)

Design team member Lisa Warren used the May Bouquet collection on this gorgeous wedding layout.  Here’s what Lisa had to say … “I  love a good multi-photo sketch!  For my take, I have cropped each of the photos to 4×4 and aligned them in the grid pattern.  I have swapped out the journaling for an oversized title, which I’ve nestled on a cluster of journal stickers.  Instead of stitching a circular element onto my layout, I have used a pretty doily.  The colours of the new May Bouquet collection are so soft and complimented my wedding photos beautifully. This is one sketch I will definitely be filing away for future use.”

Pebbles supplies used:
May Bouquet Garden Gate (751023)
May Bouquet Front Porch (751014)
May Bouquet Garden (751015)
May Bouquet Journaling Stickers (732007)

May Bouquet Paper Flowers (741001)
Front Porch ABC Stickers (732005)

Other supplies used:
Rhinestones (Sam & Lucy)
Alphabet (Craft Fair)
doily, buttons, twine, ink

Design team member Samantha Sibbet also used the May Bouquet collection on this adorable layout about her daughter and her babydolls.  Here’s what Samantha had to say … “I love the fresh color palette of the May Bouquet collection.  The floral patterns are cheerful and easy to match up with photos.  I am so happy that Pebbles has coordinating journaling stickers, makes it so much easier to  record my story.”

Pebbles supplies used:
May Bouquet Freshly Picked (751013)
May Bouquet Front Porch (751014)
May Bouquet Garden (751015)

Good morning everyone!  Every now and again we receive emails from scrapbookers and paper crafters around the world showing us what they’ve created with our Pebbles products.  Today I thought I would share a few of those projects.

Victoria in Belarus sent us this lovely card using an older Pebbles baby collection.  I just love the paper pieced baby buggy with the lace trim!

Sunghee, a store owner in Korea, held a class featuring the Lil’ Miss line collection.  Here are a few cards her students created.  LOVE that paper button tree – so clever!

If you’ve created a project using Pebbles products we’d love to see it and perhaps feature it here on the blog!  Send us your images (and include you blog addy if you have one) to pebblesinc(at)americancrafts(dot)com.
