Another Easter Project with Me!

It’s my turn (Lynn) to share an Easter themed project on the blog today.  For my project I decided to create some fun hanging Easter eggs using the Lil Miss collection.

This was such a fun and SIMPLE project to create.  All you need is a few styrofoam eggs, a circle punch, ribbon, buttons, pearl pins, and a few decorative punches.  First you will need to punch out a bunch of circles from your patterned paper (my circle punch is 3/4″) and then attach them to your styrofoam egg (I simply used glue dots).  Once your egg is completely covered, cut a length of ribbon and wrap it around your egg and create a loop at the top for hanging (I secured mine with glue dots and a pearl pin).  Punch out your decorative shape, add a button secured with pearl pins, and you are done!  Simple right?

Lil Miss Sunshine (750954)
Lil Miss Spice (750955)

Other supplies used:
Punches (Martha Stewart, Marvy Uchida, Stampin’ Up!)
Buttons
Pearl Pins

Design team member Pam Callaghan created an adorable Easter layout for her project this week.  Here’s what Pam had to say … “This is a page all about the fun Sean had coloring Easter eggs.  I used mostly scraps of patterned and solid paper to create my layout.  I grabbed my scraps from the Skipping Along and So Tweet collections and assembled them into lots of layers with scallops. To accent my page, I used lots of Pebbles Chips to frame my photos.  I also used a few Skipping Along flower accents to finish of my page.  I love how bright and fun this turned out!”

Design team member Suzanne Sergi created this adorable card and gift tin for an Easter gift.  Here’s what Suzanne had to say … “There is a Teacher’s Tea at my children’s school the week before Easter.  I decided to create a card and cover a small metal tin as a gift.  I put in a few chocolates in the tin and embellished it with the same paper as the card.  The Lil Miss color palette reminds me of Easter, and instead of the traditional bunny, I opted for butterflies.  I used the Pebble Chips quotation marks as antennae for the butterflies.”
