Happy Monday morning! What a better way to start the week than with the winner of our Pebbles Chips Giveaway??!

What do you do when you need to put stuff somewhere, but you’re not sure where to put it? Pile it on the table behind you, of course!

…and when you run out of space on the table, the next best place to stash stuff is on the floor, right??? 🙂

In this economy who doesn’t want to save a few dollars for a rainy day. This post will give you some examples to do just that and get your creativity mojo flowing. Pattern paper is the least expensive product we buy as scrapbookers. Why not take the paper you have and make a few embellishments out of it. By digging into our stash pulling out a little glitter, some adhesive, and your favorite piece of paper we can create a great design on a shoestring. Hand cutting patterns out of pre-printed paper eliminates the need to buy some of the more expensive pre-made embellishments.

For this layout I simply hand cut out several flower, added a little glitter and then layered them. It adds great dimension and it is a fun and easy embellishment.

Here is an easy way to make a flower embellishment. Simply cut out several circles of various sizes, distress and ink the edges then layer them adding a brad at the center.

This adorable and totally unique project by Susan Dupre is so clever. She created the perfect fall napkin holder by cutting an acorn from pattern paper. Brilliant idea!

Check it out close up! I love how she stitched a little embroidery thread around the edges.

Marielle LeBlanc embellished her layout perfectly. She cut out several trees from pattern paper and added them to her layout. What a great look!

This gorgeous layout by Beth Root is just to fun, by cutting out some birds and flowers she added some great texture to her layout.

Christa Paustenbaugh created this sweet layout. She hand cut flowers to create a border under her title work. What a great idea!

Inspiration surrounds us in our everyday lives! Just take a look around today and see what you are inspired by. Here are a few things that caught my eye this week.

Now that fall is just around the corner, the weather is a little cooler it is time to add a new sweater to my wardrobe. I fell in love with this great yellow. Land’s End is saying it is the year of the cardigan…that is perfect because I am never happier than in a comfy pair of jean and a cardigan.

Look at this GORGEOUS picture of some daisy’s I found in the photography section at photobucket. This totally inspires me to pull out my camera and snap away. It also inspires me to work on my photography and photo editing skills…what a great shot!

Crate and Barrel is one of my favorite stores. I don’t get there much but now that I have found these great pillows I just may need to take a road trip. The great colors and awesome textures totally inspire me to want to curl on the couch with my guys and have a family movie night!

I came across this typography image on photobucket and fell in love with it. The colors are brilliant and it gives me some great journaling ideas, layout color combonations, and such great looking fonts to boot!

Everyone needs a little sparkle in their life and this photo of glitter inspires me to remember that!
