• How long have you been scrapping? What drew you to scrapbooking/paper crafting/card making? Why scrapbooking/paper crafting/card making? I’ve been playing with glue and paper for about 8 years now! I had a neighbor that scrapbooked and asked me along to a Creative Memories party and after that I was hooked! I had always just done layouts but recently I have crossed over to cardmaking as well and I’m totally hooked! 2 reasons I love to scrapbook: One as a creative outlet to help me try and keep my sanity (try being the key word there) with 5 short ones running around the house. Two because I love knowing that I am capturing the everyday things my kids do and say on their pages for us all to look back on and enjoy.

• What inspires you? Where do you like to scrapbook? I am inspired by my photos and the story I want to tell. I also get inspiration from pattern papers and will go in search of photos (because I know I have a photo somewhere that will fit almost any paper! lol). I like to look through magazines and such but mostly my photos and products are what inspire me! I am not the best cropper mainly because I usually can’t keep my mouth shut long enough to create anything so I do my best work at home, alone, with all my supplies standing at my table.

• Describe your style in 3 words/short phrases. Real-I like to scrap the everyday photos and happenings. Clean with a touch of collage. Bright and fun!

• Favorite Pebbles product/collection? Skipping Along Collection

• Favorite sweet treat? It would probably be easier to ask what is NOT my favorite!

• Favorite place to travel or where would you like to travel? Being married to the military and living in Germany for over 4 years I got the opportunity to travel a lot over there and I would have to say pretty much all of Europe I am in love with… I would love to go back!!

• How long have you been scrapping? What drew you to scrapbooking/paper crafting/card making? I have been scrapbooking for 3 years. After my second daughter’s birth, I wanted to make a birth album and I did some search on the Internet. I found a scrapbooking gallery and totally fell in love!

• Where do you like to scrapbook? What inspires you? I have a little–really little!–scrap room. So little that I don’t have to stand up to catch the things I need! Lol! But I love this place. No TV, no computer, only my music, that’s how I feel more creative. What inspires me? The life of everyday, my daughters and the love I have for them. Sometimes TV, magazines … and papers, or a flower, a ribbon, a colour … inspiration is everywhere! You just have to open your mind.

• Describe your style in 3 words/short phrases. Only 3? Hum, really difficult … let’s go: Creative, feminine and delicate maybe …sometimes funky, colourful and different.

• Favorite Pebbles product/collection? I really love the “Lil’Miss” collection; love the colours, and the tooooo cute stickers!!

• Favorite sweet treat? I cannot resist some barley sugar, or all this candy which reminds me of when I was a little girl and I was with my grandmother. And of course chocolate :p

• Favorite place to travel or where would you like to travel? I’d love to travel to America, this is my dream, but I am too afraid because of the plane! I’d love to see Ireland too, and Canada.

• Were you named after anyone? No. my mother has chose my name, Michele. It was her favourite name since she was a little girl, and she decided to name her first baby Michele!

We loved Michele’s style and are so anxious to see what she does with our products! 🙂

• How long have you been scrapping? What drew you to scrapbooking/paper crafting/card making? Why scrapbooking/paper crafting/card making? I’ve been scrapping for 5 years. I’ve always loved crafting but never found anything that I kept at. I think having small children and tons of photos keeps me going. The actual crafting part of scrapbooking is just so much fun. All of the color and designing just soothes me. It’s so different from my day job as an Analyst.

• What inspires you? Where do you like to scrapbook? I am inspired mostly by my photos and the funny situations my boys manage to get into. I scrapbook primarily in my scraproom – I do foray out to crops about once a month more to socialize than anything else!

• Describe your style in 3 words/short phrases. Clean, simple, fun.

• Favorite Pebbles product/collection? Linnie Bell patterned paper – oh the colors!

• Favorite sweet treat? Dark Chocolate

• Favorite place to travel or where would you like to travel? We travel to Cape Cod a lot. I love the beach. I’d love to travel around Europe someday.

• Were you named after anyone? I am named after my mother’s best friend in college.

• How long have you been scrapping? What drew you to scrapbooking/paper crafting/card making? Started crafting 5 years ago after the birth of our first child. At that time, we as first time parents had tons of photos of our new baby. I got tired of just keeping them in albums. I decided to do something pretty with them. Once I got introduced to the pretty embellishments, there was no turning back! Besides scrapbooking, I also love to dabble with cardmaking and papercrafting.

• What inspires you? Where do you like to scrapbook? Advertisements, book cover, food label etc … really, just anything with color makes me happy! I have a fixed place for me to do my craft. I am so used to scrapbook at my computer table that I cannot scrap outside it!

• Describe your style in 3 words/short phrases. Colorful, bold, evolving.

• Favorite Pebbles product/collection? Pebbles papers, papers, papers!! Favourite collection: So Tweet.

• Favorite sweet treat? Chocolate.

• Favorite place to travel or where would you like to travel? Hawaii. Went there for our honeymoon and just loved it!!

• How long have you been scrapping? What drew you to scrapbooking/paper crafting/card making? I have been scrapping for about 11 years, but only 3 years “seriously”. I went to a Creative Memories party on a whim and only scrapped sporadically. I picked up Cathy Zielske’s first book and I was hooked after that. I found that a simple style was more of my style and it has evolved ever since! Why scrapping? I want my kids to know our family stories. The good, the bad and of course the ugly! They need to know quirks, the story behind the photos and what makes their family members tick. That’s what keeps me scrapping.

• What inspires you? Where do you like to scrapbook? I love looking through other scrappers’ blogs and galleries for inspiration. I can literally get lost jumping through links from blogs to look at all the creations! I scrapbook in our living room at the moment while watching whatever quality tv is on at the time! When my husband is home I get my best scrapping done during NFL season! My dream house would include a nice sized craft room with music and tv included-a girl can dream!

• Describe your style in 3 words/short phrases. Story and photos first. Simple and Graphic. I love color!

• Favorite Pebbles product/collection? I first fell in love with the Linnie Bell collection and have nearly used it all up! Love those colors! I am loving the Lil’ Miss collection too!

• Favorite sweet treat? I have a love affair with chocolate that my husband knows about, and has accepted that he has to share me. There is no such thing as “too chocolately” to me!

• Favorite place to travel or where would you like to travel? We have traveled to many places since we are military. My favorite places in the US that we have gone so far are Catalina Island, CA; Charleston, SC and my in laws cabin in the PA mountains. We have an upcoming trip to Costa Rica in the fall and I absolutely cannot wait! Oh, and my husband owes me a trip to Italy since it was cut 10 years ago due to a deployment!

• Were you named after anyone? I was not named after anyone. My mom liked the name Christa, but it is spelled many times with a “K” and she wanted it with a “Ch”. My middle name is somewhat unique, LaChelle, and she found it in a book and really liked it.
