Looking for the perfect way to personalize your holiday gift packaging? This gift wrap idea from Design Team Member Laura Craigie is just the thing…
I love incorporating scrapbook supplies into my every day life as often as I can, and wrapping gifts is one of my favorite ways to do it!
I started off with a white gift box, and then I traced the edges of it on patterned paper before cutting them out and adhering them to all sides of the box. This is a really fun look because you can use different paper for each side if you want to. To make the edges of the box look prettier and to hide the paper edges I just covered them in washi tape, and trimmed off the excess.
I love making gift bows out of patterned paper, it’s a great way to use those pretty patterns, and so easy! I just mimicked those plastic bows, by folding loops of paper on to itself and stapling them all in the middle together. You can easily take apart a real bow to get exact paper measurements if needed.
Then I finished off my gift with a sweet tag from the Front Porch Phrase cards that I jazzed up with some punched snowflakes in the same paper that I used to make the bow. I thought it turned out pretty cute, and was honestly quite quick to do!
