Hello everyone, it’s Eva on the blog today sharing a layout tutorial using lots of flowers from the Hey! Hello collection.
Spring is just around the corner and what better way to prepare than to create a layout filled with flowers? The new Hey! Hello line has lovely patterns filled with flowers, birds and friendship sentiments, it is a collection perfect for everyday projects!
I started my project by making some rolled flowers with patterned paper. You can make them in your cutting machine but I used just my scissors and relaxed while watching a tv series.
Here are the 4 flowers designs I made: waves, petals, fringe, and spiral.
The collection has many floral designs. gather your ephemera, stickers and fussy cut some flowers from this lovely patterned paper.
Now it is time to glue your flowers to the layout. Create a border trying to mix the flower types!
Next, cut the pieces that fall off the page and add them to your layout. Don’t throw anything!
Finally, add some stickers, ephemera and your picture.
I love the dimension and texture the rolled flowers give. It is fun to play with handmade embellishments once in a while.
Do you like to create floral layouts? I think they are not only for girls. My little one loves to give me flowers to show me how much he loves me.
Thanks for joining me today and I hope you give this layout a try.
