Hello Pebbles Friends! It is Leanne here today sharing a set of three Baby Girl Lullaby Cards. These three cards have been put together using left over cardstock and pretty patterned papers.
When I scrapbook, I always scrap in 8.5″x11″ size. This often leaves me with plenty of leftover cardstock strips measuring 12″x3.5″. Whether you have pre-cut strips like myself or need to create these cards from scratch, grab a fresh sheet of cardstock and trim three strips from the 12″x12″ size (you’ll need the extra strips later).
Score and fold the strips at 3″ and 6″. See image below.
Trim three more pieces of cardstock measuring 3.5″x6″.
Using a choice of patterned papers, layer them onto the top of the 3.5″x6″ cardstock strips to create the front cover of each card. Embellish them further with Ephemera Cardstock Die-cuts.
Add foam dots between the layers. Adhere the patterned papers towards the top of the Card.
Add Lullaby Baby Girl thickers to the lower edge of the card cover.
Assemble the card by embellishing the inside with leftover patterned paper and 3″x4″ cut apart sentiments.
Line up the lower edge of the cover with the folded over edge of the base card. Add adhesive to the folded section only on the base cardstock. This allows the card to stand like an “A” frame.
Complete any extra embellishing by adding puffy stickers and cardstock die-cuts.
*Other decorative ideas can include scallop edging, stickers and stitching.
Thanks for visiting the Pebbles blog today. Hopefully you’ve been inspired to create a set of three cards to welcome in the new bundles of joy in your life!
