Hello everyone! I’m Eva Pizarro and today I want to show you how to make a sunburst to include in your next layout or project.
I loved how this layout turned out! The sunburst resembling the rainbow and those little quatrefoil made with hearts were perfect for my theme: Luck! I have the most wonderful husband and after 6 months of being bedridden we finally received a beautiful and healthy baby boy! I truly feel I am a lucky girl – I have everything I have ever wanted!
If you want to make a sunburst rainbow, this is what you have to do:
Cut a scrap piece of paper with the measurements of the sunburst you want. Establish where you want your focal point and draw lines from there to the sides of your paper. Number each piece to help you remember where they are supposed to be.
Cut your triangles and use them as guides to cut through your patterned paper.
Trim the edges a bit if you want and glue everything to your layout.
Bend the edges and finish your layout with your photo, a title and embellishments.
To do the quatrefoils, simply put four hearts together. It’s super easy!
Thanks for visiting our blog! Have a great day!
Eva
